Giving the whole thing a bit of a sit-back and absorb ATM. One thing has occurred to me. This year, more so than any year I have played, the gulf between the truly awful sides ( all 3 of them ) and the rest has widened markedly.

SC scoring options for all 3 have offered diminishing returns as the year wears on.

Here's the kicker, in my estimation.

Ess/WC/NM are all coached by blokes whose player/strategy development is completely lacking any nouse, nuance or apparent understanding of the quantum leap footy has made this year. In this same vein(glorious) fashion, GWS players were becoming a millstone as well until Leon fell on his sword. Now even Lachie Whitfield has started to ton up, as further vindication of this assertion.

So, from our POV as the SC OCD Ass. there seems to be a correlation that more than suggests that premium or mid-price players from these sides are not viable in the current climate.

If you support any of these teams, look at my Magpies for inspiration as to what a whole-of-game versed coach can do to make rapid improvement with much the same list as the previous incompetent incumbent. McVeigh is doing himself no harm with GWS as a further example.

So, calf or not, see ya DP and no more with the Jed Anderson either. At least I made a quick leap-frogging sum to turn JA into Libba and DP had enough juice to act as a straight swap for Stewart. The forecast of Stewart falling to 550K may be right, but 144 this time around as his BE is eminently achievable, so I am hitting that button, baby and Mr Hewett can become part of my all-star mids.

I'll (very poorly in comparison) offer just a couple of counter points.

- As you touched on yourself, North opposition have alll found rich (glorious) veins of form.
They sag back, more flood than press-style
so take the GWS scores with a touch of salt(iness).
Whitfield had 14 marks. Take that back to 8 or 9 (has never averaged more than 8), that's 5 less marks, 5 less kicks and so (rough[l]y) 30 less points.
HH obviously in the same canoe.

- Somewhat counter intuitively to that, WC's midfield are so bad they just don't get it forward. They offer up just 30 R50's a game. As such opposition defenders don't score particularly well.

Hopefully the Geelong backs still grab plenty of balls (because I've brought one in too, just not TS), but I wouldn't be [w@nk] banking on a colosal one...
(Not that I have a choice).

no Grundy, No gawn, Preuss out of best 22... who besides Witts is there? Darcy? He seems injury prone
This is why I traded Gawn out in round 3. I saw this coming obviously.

I don't know if your blessed, lucky or cursed. Good luck for what it's worth ?
I'm taking it positively. Jackson will score well with Max out, obviously not as high, but it'll be enough for F6 for now. Also the money saved by trading out Gawn instead of Jackson will help a lot.

Mason Cox only listed as a forward, there goes that idea we were all considering

The upside for me is if Jackson is a keeper, my side is "complete" now with 9 trades and $108 ITB, so can work on upgrading my worst premo's.

Ankle's are bad ones, he might be back in 4 weeks, but he won't be 100%.
He's 111kg and 208cm
All he does is jump in ruck contests and for marks
Demons will still finish top 4 and push for the Flag
He's probably their MVP

Assuming they can get back on track with a few wins after their bye, I reckon they'll be very conservative
