Butters throws another spanner in the works. This has been a big Monday lol.
As for English just FYI, this was last year where he missed 4 games with ‘concussion symptoms’, with the doggies playing on his 12th day, I dare say they won’t be risking it with an interstate game flights etc and his history. Food for thought F9E345FF-7534-42A6-A922-D3B576844FA3.png

I don’t know if there’s a better way to describe how ****ed 2022 is than to say that the only SC relevant ruck that hasn’t missed a game is the old campaigner coming off an ACL who is inexplicably also averaging 20 points more than he has for the rest of his career

This game is cooked

It really is enough to make a man lose what is left of his wits, agreed. Who's the ruck?

Happy to take Shiel or Mcgrath as a direct swap. Imagine how either of them would flourish under McCrae instead of Captain McSpuddypants at Essendon.
nah De Goey is way better than both which is ****ing sad

Shiel was a gun inside/out b4 Essendon sapped him of his competitive spirit, remember that they gave 2 first round picks up for him; his last 2 weeks are signs that he is getting his mojo back.
The jury is definitely out on McGrath, but he has gone distinctly backwards the last 2 years and is another who is wrongly utilised.

He is a total douchenozzle, but does have some standards, you know.
Who knows, teams rise and fall quickly in AFL. North are terrible at the moment, but in 4-5 years they could well be challenging.

In De Goey's position I'd consider it, this is his last big contract. An extra 2-3 million will help set up the rest of his life.

And fund the post-footy meth lab franchise, it makes sense.
