Neale was way unders. $550k for a fit Neale is a guaranteed 120+ average. You saved more than $100k. That's a bargain. Money saved allowed you take another mid-pricer or expensive cash, many of which worked.

$450k for 100 average is very good, saved a lot of money.

Yeah Nick Daicos. Even JHF pumped out some big scores and made $100k quickly. Expensive 1st years rarely work out.
I didn't pick JHF. Picked Brodie, Daicos and Ward instead. Didn't want another 200k player. Ward was a fail. Brodie made up for it. JHF wasn't that good in the end.

I think I more than made up for not picking JHF & Ward by picking Xerri, Berri and T Dow. Also didn't have Brodie until trading him in for rd 3.

Probably another thing I should add to the list:

When you buy and sell is really, really important, as important as who.

Trades are not as binary as I once thought.
One does not simply upgrade/downgrade, one takes advantage of mid and rising star bubbles as well as premium upgrades to build both currency and interim scoring power.

In round 6 I was 25 000th overall and started basing every trades off pure mathematics. Once a rookie was due to start losing money I moved him on straight away. I then only brought in 'fallen' premiums who had low break evens.

Now sit 10 070th and would be far higher if not a botched first week of the byes where I came 60 000th.

Basically threw 'gut feel' out the window for a while and it's paid off.

I had my best start every but traded out players I should have kept, and kept players I should have traded (English). Has cost me dearly. I guess my post was more directed at myself than anyone else!!
When you speak do you hear echos or the beach ?

I mean by all reports he was fine, so I feel it is a bit of carnage

Actually on second thoughts, with Preuss,Peatling and Jeffrey out, that's the end of my cash generation, so not only is it carnage for me, the tears aren't far away.
Anyway,

That's not carnage, i'd already added him to my other 3 injuries from last week.

Is Hollands a chance this weekend?

I’d have to say no

Powell, Jeffrey and Budarick all out injured (Budda a test, but I’d say he misses)

Atkins/Sharp in for Powell
Bowes in for Buda
Burgess in for Jeffrey
Rosas in for Flanders
Thompson in for Graham

If Buda fit, Atkins/Sharp out

Can’t see Holland’s getting in, and that’s after a 40+ point win. Go Suns

Don't care, I can compose my Supercoach obituary now,and get back to my miserable unfulfilled existence, 1 or 2 more weeks in the top 100 and then I can go back to restoring the 120 toolboxes that have appeared since supercoach started, and eagerly wait for the next season and my new improved magnificent plan.
