No surprise.Dusty officially out v GWS
A bit like Ash Barty .....Dusty's climbed the mountain & achieved everything .....with recent events, he may be struggling with motivationNo surprise.
Hope he gets his issues together and comes back like the champ he is. We need our stars out there playing.

POPCORN.gifWe have 3 confirmed ins so far. NOD, Hamling and Darcy. Meek out, Mundy and Cox H & S protocols at this stage. Could get ugly.
You couldn't be more wrong. WA actually has the highest rate of boosters for eligible population than any other state.People in Melbourne were desperate to get vaccinated, so probably higher levels of triple vax here. WA has been in shang ri la, so uptake my not have been as high![]()

You can talk yourself into things in training .....but once in the heat of battle ....has he asked himself, "why am I here "

Clearly WA wasn't the shang ri la I thought it was. Must be keener than us to leave the last 2 years behind. You couldn't be more wrong. WA actually has the highest rate of boosters for eligible population than any other state.
Triple vax ain't stopping omicron transmission. Outside of maybe helping for a few weeks (antibody spike), it's not doing anything to stop transmission. The vax pierce with Omicron is huge.
Vaccine stops you from getting sick and dying, but since Delta and now Omicron, it does hardly anything to stop spread.
We're all going to be infected, again and again every time there is a new variant. Vaccine protects from serious illness and disease by giving you a heads up (T and B memory cells; antibody levels subside quickly).
From a SC perspective, we just need to hope that the new variant that tops omicron and spreads globally, doesn't come until after the season ends, otherwise every player will catch that as well.
In his basement it would seem.Maybe Tomorrow had him locked
see? He's a beautiful boy, and I hope he gets better soon![]()

Agree though. Time to move on. AFL is just running a PC PR activity with protocols. Or maybe just worried about OHS.

Contested possession?Apparently the gyno was about to deliver the baby, but Stewart glided across and intercepted. Should start this week with +8.
Anyone know if he’s playing?!
For real?
F**k! It's enough to have to deal with all the Covid stuff let alone this sort of garbage.

Who we talking about? He'll play ...
Might of had a sleepless night...![]()
StewartWho we talking about?
He was only ever there for half a dozen games a season anyway in the last five years.A bit like Ash Barty .....Dusty's climbed the mountain & achieved everything .....with recent events, he may be struggling with motivation

My workplace is still making us do a rat test for the first three days after a break, wear masks and social distance. Life is normal when you walk out the gate.Sorry all, I don't want to derail things any more than they have recently...
But there's plenty of workplaces now that either don't require vaccination, or once did but have done away with it.
I work for a national company where a mandate was strongly considered but never eventuated. (WA government rules over-rode for me specifically, but "obviously" (for most!) I'm jabbed up for my own health and safety).
stevebbb is 100%, so surely the AFL get to a point where they ask; "Who are we actually protecting here?"
Players will get it, they are now anyway. They'll feel crap for a week (or they won't).
The initial flu comparisons weren't all that well informed, imho, but surely they become more and more apt as we roll through new variants?
Anyway, I don't even know what thread I'm in.![]()
