A bit over this one horse race crap. Supercars really need to get away with sleeping with 888 & DJR for technical regulations as parity is skewed to those teams. Probably going to see the same result with Gen3 next season.

Indy Car and NASCAR seem to do it better in creating a level playing field.

Got my dates wrong and didn't realise the Sandown race was on last weekend :O ... thought it was next weekend.

Just going back and watching it now.

For Race 24, SVG with a tiny mistake at the end of his top10 shootout lap cost him a shot at pole and Davison made the most of it to be up the front. In the race, Davison had an absolutely perfect start and just skipped away without a hint of a concern in that car. Looked slick.

Some crazy-close qualifying positioning but SVG gets the pole for Race 25...

Davison having an electrical fire that didn't get too out of hand was very lucky to be able to isolate it and fix it and go out for the next qualifying for Race 26 and then to pip the field for pole is a fair effort by him and the team.

Race 25 was fairly straight-forward for SVG and he just dominated and left 'em in the dust, as he does sometimes.

Race 26 had some bloody epic racing between SVG and Davison off the start... surprised Davison didn't do the undercut to get past SVG as he probably could have and paid the price by pitting many laps later and didn't quite have enough to get back to SVG to strike. Good racing, though.
