I think so, although I don’t think we’ve done it that much before. Tom Lee the last one I remember for sure, maybe Menzel? (Though that may have been a two-year deal with triggers)

I have no problem rolling pick 23 forward to next year - someone will come with a future 2nd for it plus some additional points for MM. We will be needing that pick next year given the plethora of delistings that should happen then.

McPherson delisted and to the rookie list

So unless Turner gets delisted, no spare rookie slots

Yes, happens regularly ......if the incumbent club Rookies the player, the Contract carries on, in its normal form ......if another Club Rookies the player, they take on-board the existing Contract

We could always delist crouch and put him on the rookie list. No chance anyone poaching him. I mean we've let him go to the market and asked about trading and no one bit so should be pretty safe.

So with Rowe and Davis the likely delistings, just not sure how we free up the list spots for both 23 and Michalanney?

Rookie Seed. He can be selected from there. No chance someone picks him up ala Greenwood

I tell you what, I’d love to see a fit and firing Seed. We missed him badly this year. We had Hately on the wing FFS. But more importantly would be awesome for him given what he’s gone through.

I wouldn't be surprised if Strachan is delisted and then re-rookied.

Not too sure, I just can't ever see him taking ROBs spot. So to me if we are desperate for list spots he is the one that needs to make way unfortunately.

If ROB does get injured then I think Thilthorpe as 1st ruck with Berg as backup would be a pretty handy option.

We really need to add a young ruck to our list this year though.

Not quite... if another club drafted one of our players, we would have to pay the difference between their existing contract and their new contract with their new club.

They can... and it has the effect of re-setting his rookie list clock back to zero.

But I would be very, very, surprised if they were to do so.
