Unknown Caller - thoughts on replacement and start date? If we get the new coach registered during the week I can get the admin done over the week so we're ready to go on the weekend.
Looking to consolidate picks, picks 32, 50, 60 and futures (RR 3rd, Olma 2nd, WW 4th, WW 3rd, WW 2nd all available in right deal), would like to move up where possible, i have too many picks and not enough spots so if someone wants more picks HMU.

I’ve already sent a PM a few days ago to American Doggie letting him know that I’m planning to look for a new coach if he doesn’t respond by this Monday. So I’m guessing I’ll post the EOI on Monday and get a replacement coach shortly after.

From the top of my head Rockford Unknown Caller flaps tenderwarrior Drew23 are the only originals in our league. It would be interesting if we had another division where we all drafted our own sides.
Yep, Flaps was 2nd generation haha
I don't recall that, but my first squad had an average age of like 30+ but injuries and poor form meant I started a rebuild halfway through the first season!

Correct. I came in after a month or two from the inaugural post-draft. So I had my Stevie J trade for Frawley (plus other shit) heavily scrutinised on day one. And had to rebuild before rebuilds were a thing.

Someone definitely missed draft night or had a lot of connectivity issues and ended up with a lot of "Heath Scotland" style auto-selects. I thought it was TW as well.

Just a heads up all, ahead of an announcement by Unknown Caller on the new manager and the cut-off date ahead of the draft (hopefully starting this Saturday) we'll likely have the cut-off for list changes at some point this week. If there's any lingering de-listings please get them done now or as soon as possible. We need to have all list changes and the draft completed in three weeks time for us to be ready for Round 1.

We can just reduce the clock. So many picks nearly use the full 12 hours. In another league a few of us are in we are up to pick 64 in 3-4 days.

We might not have a choice. Maybe first two rounds have the usual clock (they often go faster anyway) and then after that things progress back until we know it will be completed on time. It not being completed on time and missing R1 is not an option. Can work it out I guess based on how things are progressing. We've also had drafts where things have flown along, so wait and see. It'll just be useful either way if people can start to wind up their lists to give some time for determining final draft picks and getting things setup.. once a new manager has been installed that is.

Makes a lot of sense. And hopefully by then it’s only a few people left drafting with late picks.
I certainly ended up with Heath Scotland and a stack of others on or past their last legs. Perhaps I did miss the draft, but I had always thought that it was just a misguided draft strategy
So do we now have an official 14th coach? Hopefully we can start the draft soon

How are we looking for the new coach? We're 3 weeks out from Round 1. I feel like we need to start the draft this weekend, and I'll need at least a couple nights to get the admin side completed. Realistically tomorrow ~5pm AWST needs to be cut-off for list changes if we're going to start it this weekend.
