If the 2022 Membership year commences on 1st November 2021, then maybe a newly joined 2022 Legends Members could vote in the December AGM?
Unless there are other restrictions within the constitution?
yea, well considering I've been a legends member previously for a few years ( just wasn't this year 2021 because I live in QLD I didn't wanna risk Covid lockdowns etc.. and yea good decision at end of the day)...BUT.... I signed up again the other day and my first payment comes out in October. before the AGM so I feel I should be able to vote

I'd like to see the streaming one remain in place. Kayo via Collingwood is far better than Telstra. I can support my club and have a phone deal with a better telco. Also, some recognition for members where you can't watch footy would be amazing. It would be nice if they offered a Tassie Pies package or NT deal because Collingwood is unlikely to play there beyond a preseason game.

Has anyone (Legends Members) received their call back to discuss their membership reimbursement options for 2022 yet? I only responded a few days ago, so there's plenty of time for them to do it (within 10 days). Just want to know the gist of what they are offering.

As I've said on the forum before, happy for the membership component to be paid, but its the reserved seats for every match in Melbourne that we didn't get to use is the issue for me. That should be credited to 2022 imo.

Got my renewal today. 2022 will be my 58th consecutive season as a member (since 1965) and my 40th season as a Social Club member of whatever the designation is now (voting rights).

Let's hope 2022 proves to be more enjoyable than 2021 and that we can get to games.

That’s impressive!

I've also kept a record of every Collingwood game I have attended since 1965 and am currently on 937 games. Not many in the last two years like everyone else so has pushed back my projected 1000th game a few years, if I get there of course.

They will offer you a $150 refund.

The following was an Members Update email I received today, in regards to Board Election voting:

“As per the constitution, members who held any of the following packages for the 2021 season are eligible to vote:
- Club 5 members;
- Legends members;
- Season Ticket members with Social Club access.”

Why can't Season Ticket Members can't vote but can with Social Club Access can?

It’s always been that way…
Back in the 70’s when I first joined the Social Club, you had to fill out a nomination form, have 2 existing members sign it, lodge with Club.
Eventually you were admitted as a Member after you were ratified & nobody objected.
Could take Months to be accepted.
Where as to buy a seasons ticket, you went to the window at Vic Park & paid cash for your ticket…no record of who you were, hence you were not officially considered a Member (You were a season ticket holder).
Only Social Club Members could enter the Vic Park Social Club, gaming room etc, match day bars & viewing area (by showing your medallion) & attend AGM & vote in elections.
Today…all are considered Members…however only Social Club Members (Legends etc) are eligible to vote per the constitution.

I like what the Melbourne storm have with their 2022 memberships.

Melbourne Storm are offering free memberships for 23,000 Victorians in 2022.

rewarding fans who were members in 2020 and 2021

Collingwood would Definitionally not do that

The no member t-shirt thing ticks me off

Such a rude call to be made

A lot of us live a long way away and shouldn’t have to pay extra shipping and no doubt higher cost for the most basic of membership items

I’m with you. They will no doubt bump the cost up to around $70 or more plus shipping. That’s a considerable increase for members who enjoy wearing the polo shirt to games.
