Think Carlton had a " SEN Promo" today something like buy 5 get 9 or something like that

Buy a 3 game membership for $99 and get 3 games for free. So, that's 6 games for $99 which equates to $16.5 per game!

To be fair, all clubs are doing similar. Although at this point I haven’t seen the Tigers or Bombers ‘giving away’ memberships this year… Probably because both clubs are on track for strong growth in numbers this year and are capitalising on organic growth and not unnecessarily diluting yield.

Having said that, Essendon usually do one of these sort of discounted offers once the season starts, usually including the ANZAC Day game as the lute / add on.

Today on SEN, it’s Hawthirn membership day. I’ve never known the Hawks being involved in these. Usually it’s the domain of clubs that need a leg up. Is this a sign the Hawks are tracking slower than anticipated for 2022? Maybe not. Interesting all the same.

I'm fairly certain they do it for all Melbourne clubs.

How’s the Tigers tally tracking Vs prior years? It’s hard to know whether these rallies are going, bad or indifferent.

Essendon are tracking around 5-6,000 ahead of same time last year.

Carlton I believe are a couple of thousand up too.

Collingwood are also tracking very well.

Hawthirn I believe are behind last year at this point….

Any context appreciated😄👍

Steady numbers for 2019, 2021 and 2022.
2020 we were quite ahead but we did break our all-time record last year so hopefully, we can surpass 105,084 this year!

17/03/2022 90,575
15/03/2021 90,043
17/03/2020 96,261
15/03/2019 90,307

Just noticed these comparisons to last year (only) are a bit misleading this time coz the first round this year is a week earlier than same calendar week last year compared to footy fixture timings.

Hence a figure today is really equivalent to this day a week later as round 1, 2021 was week of 23/3/21. Ie: 17/3/22 for true comparison is actually 24/3/21 based on the fixture etc.. Just something we should all keep in mind over the coming weeks as we track clubs sales.
