Still have your nose out of joint?

My question/comment had nothing to do with the GF but was merely suggesting a possible reason for what would be a very large increase in a short period.

I think most Melbourne supporters would think that too. None have commented other than you.

Melbourne fully deserved their victory and played the most brilliant 45 minutes of football I've ever seen.

Regarding the Pies total, don’t think it includes the AFL memberships which went through the last week or so. Expect the Pies total to get a strong lift next week👍👌
Interesting. Hope we can step it up before Christmas and New Year arrives.

Melbourne are having their premiership celebrations at the MCG this Sunday. Wouldn’t be surprised they have a membership blitz at the event.

So everyone can finally shut up.

It wasn't a bandwagon with Richmond.
Success starved supporters (2 finals appearances in 30 years - 1995,2001) just had a little bit of success.
Bit early for this I reckon. You are still well and truely in a window.

collingwood at 58,000 inside info
That sounds about right, now including its ~11,000 AFL members. From memory they’re about 2-3,000 ahead of same time last year. It would also include the AFLW memberships which would be around 2,000 I assume.

Good to see most clubs on target for strong growth again👍

The gap between Richmond and 2nd is around 25% higher.

Tigers finished 12th last year - members haven't attended a game in like two years.

Sidenote - where is Melbourne's bandwagon? Reckon with Richmond, we saw supporters without hope get a dynasty and that created a frenzy.

Same would happen with Carlton and essendon if they just suddenly entered a dynasty.

Most ‘reliable’ comparison I can find is leading into 2017 season on 13th Decenber they cracked the 60,000 mark. En route to 75,663. Feels like they’re around 5,000 members down on same time last year…
If we end up with numbers in the high 60’s that’s a decent return considering our last 2 seasons.
