If you haven’t signed up yet, we encourage you to join us on our record-breaking journey beyond 50,000 members. A massive thank you to the just over 37,000 of you who have already committed for the year ahead.

Update

Richmond = 84,019
Collingwood = 69,000
Carlton = 63,000 (as of February 1)
Essendon = 59,757
Port Adelaide = 51,433
Hawthorn = 50,000 (announced on December 7)
Geelong = 47,197
Melbourne = 41,562
St Kilda = 40,400
Fremantle = 39,774
Western Bulldogs = 37,888
North Melbourne = 37,612 (as of January 28)
Brisbane Lions = 26,508 (as of December 18)

Was notified by Collingwood's membership department today that they were close to pushing 70,000, so I estimated the figure to be about 69K approximately.

Not sure why Hawthorn haven't updated theirs since December. Is that common for us?

Also, the first page has Hawthorn GA as $230. Not sure where this is (if someone knows of this price I'm adding extra members today) as this seems to be the concession rate. The adult rate is $280.
We basically need a Hawks supporter to ring the club for a tally update. Any update from the Hawks or Blues would be good.

We just cant seem to get these band-wagoners off the Tiger train :rolleyes:

2022 — 84,019
2021 — 82,648
2020 — 87,879
2019 — 82,142
2018 — 73,156

Looking like a 110,000 season
Well when you have about 50 categories of junk memberships it probably helps just a little.

Can we get a list with actual relevance that filters out all the meaningless Add on, Pet, 1 and 3 game members?

I think you will find that Richmond have similar membership packages as the other Victorian clubs (believe it or not other clubs have 3 game memberships too).

I'm also not sure of the problem with including 3 game memberships in the total. Not everybody has a lifestyle to attend every game during the season, but still wan to be a part of the club and willing to put their hand in their wallet to contribute to the club.

Pet memberships are not counted for any club. 3 game memberships are counted in all clubs numbers. I'm not aware of Richmond having a 1 game membership though, I'm not sure if other clubs include that in their numbers.

these are just the add on membership packages alone. Add On

Maybe educate yourself on what a membership needs to include to be counted in these numbers like game access and min charge
so your arguments bout pet memberships or meaningless memberships are not included.

Nice try maybe try again from another angle and lets us know what you can find

You do realise that add on is extras to go on a membership. It is not actually counted as an additional member right?

Those add ons alone would not pass the AFL audit at the end of the year.
Have you got evidence that 0, 1 and 3 game attendance and pet memberships don't count on the tally? I'm under the impression that a lot of these do but am happy to be corrected.

You should really do the research yourself before talking about subjects you don't know rather than me having to do it for you. Anyway, the criteria is mentioned here.

Read the actual article. It highlights the audit criteria under the table. The criteria hasn't changed since then, or are you saying you can prove otherwise?

At least I am basing my opinion on some type of research rather than knowing nothing about the subject and spouting nonsense such as pet memberships counting towards the membership numbers.

The criteria has changed, as noted last year
