Not much of a post flag bump for Melbourne. CEO Pert said last year they were on their way to 100k. Won’t even crack 60k.

West Coast surely has to be including sideline memberships in their tally. Even though they have enough support to fill a 100,000 seat stadium, they don’t have the capacity over there to have more than maybe 60,000 match day access members.Email from Nisbett to members today said we are over 90,000 and tracking well to break 100,000 again.
But also said all seated members will fit inside the stadium with WA's current 75% capacity rule (45,000). So we must have a lot of pet members!
Are you sure? I thought 49,000 at this point felt ok. What’s the comparison with this time last year?Be interesting to see if Geelong members sign up as they did last year. 49k is well behind the amount we had this same time last year.

Geelong announced 50,000 on March 9 last year. Are you sure? I thought 49,000 at this point felt ok. What’s the comparison with this time last year?
Anything over $50 counts as a membership officially, no surprise teams are taking advantage of this.Clubs are starting to do anything to inflate their headline figure. This is a 2 game membership. Assumption being they will enjoy both games and upgrade next year.
All clubs are doing similar things. That’s why revenue and yield is still a very informative metric for review.
Well when you do pet memberships and 2 for 1 deals, it should be easy enough.St Kilda was 42,400 about a week ago.
Just had our membership day yesterday no update yet but hopefully closing in on 45k
The club is aiming for 60k.
they broke 80k last year and are already on 70k nowIf Carlton hypothetically made top 4 would they break 80,000 members next year

Without question. In fact I reckon you'd just about hit 100k.If Carlton hypothetically made top 4 would they break 80,000 members next year
didn’t realise this i just always felt like you were the biggest of the 4 big sidesthey broke 80k last year and are already on 70k now
Yeah it’s an add on…. Not counted towards our tally. Plus you didn’t mention the 2 for 1 deal that I also posted about..Like your club does you ******* loser.

I think the traditional big four Collingwood,Essendon,Richmond and Carlton are similar when winning consistently and playing finals.didn’t realise this i just always felt like you were the biggest of the 4 big sides
Not so sure I agree. If true they had over 80,000 members last year after being mediocre for two decades then I see no reason why the Blues can’t push for the AFL’s highest membership tally of all time when they finally break into the 8.I think the traditional big four Collingwood,Essendon,Richmond and Carlton are similar when winning consistently and playing finals.
West Coast last year (106,422) is the record. Not so sure I agree. If true they had over 80,000 members last year after being mediocre for two decades then I see no reason why the Blues can’t push for the AFL’s highest membership tally of all time when they finally break into the 8.
Does anyone know what that number is? 110k?
I think you'll find all clubs pet memberships are add on an not counted.Yeah it’s an add on…. Not counted towards our tally. Plus you didn’t mention the 2 for 1 deal that I also posted about..
