There is no way Gameday was going to be anywhere else.

I am looking forward to this game. Tennessee is the real litmus test for us. I reckon we can score on them no problem but can our defence hold them is the main question. Winner of this probably wins the SEC East.

I guess Stanford really do hate fun, hey aussiedude

The tree and the Stanford band have always pushed the line. There are more than a few schools that have banned the Stanford band from attending. One year the Pac-12 banned them from road games, and when we were making the New Years bowl games one year the band was banned from preforming at half time.

This isnt the first time the tree has been banned from games too.

Horrible news for us. He is the leader on our defence and we looked worse when he went out against Florida. Thankfully we get Jalen Carter back, though. As much as it sucks for the team, it would especially suck for Nolan. It is his senior year and missing the back-half of the season and potential playoff run could see him slide in the draft. It would be a s**t way to end your college career.

first Top 25 playoff rankings up.

Getting a 1V3 game this week. Dont know how Alabama were 6 other than name/SEC bais. LSU being in the top 20 and Texas even being ranked is a joke
You don't know how a 7-1 team is #6 other than name/bias?

So, there's 6 undefeated teams, these teams are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th.

Who was that 1 loss to? 3 points, on the road, to the #1 team. They've scored 50+ 3 times (and 49 twice, including in that loss). They've kept their opposition to 1 individual touchdown or less 4 times.

So what's below them

7 - an 8-0 side who has had as many close games as the team in 6. However, this team can't defend for s**t. They've conceded sub 3 touchdowns twice (to a 1-7 team, and an FCS team)

8 - A 1 loss team that got blown out 49-3 and can't defend for s**t

9 - A 1 loss team, who's had such an easy schedule, they've only played TWO teams above .500. Went 1-1 in them

10 - A 2 loss team who lost to the same team Alabama lost to, but they lost by 27 rather than 3

11 - A 1 loss team who's one loss was by 25 to the team with 2 losses

Honestly, going through all their resumé's, you could very easily argue for the team that's very lucky to be where they are is Ohio State. I'd actually move Alabama up to 5 and slide Ohio State all the way down to 6. Ohio State is where they are on name, not Alabama.

I think TCU should be ahead of Alabama. Bama barely beat A&M, Sure that game was with a backup QB but A&M blew it.
This years darling for the AP seems to be Ole Miss so they need to rank LSU since they just beat them.

Clemson and Ohio St are ranked too high.

At least this year they are putting some Pac-12 teams ranked to make records look better. But that might be just because USC are up there, even if they would have to score 60 to beat anyone good with how bad that D is.

There is always knee-jerk reactions to the first rankings, and its interesting to see where they rank teams that top 10 teams will face just to give them a boost.

Ohio State are where they are because they haven't lost. Simple.
Yet I'd rate what Georgia, TCU and Clemson have done ahead of what Ohio State has done.

Haven’t Texas A&M fallen off the cliff. They get a ton of top ranked HS prospects and have been utter shite
