Mentioned in the HUN today that Cooper Vickery is part of Hawthorn’s NGA, along with Josh Bennetts.

Bloody annoying how this stuff is not published anywhere until now.

Our club will not post a thing about our academy. You wouldn’t know it existed, except for that one academy fundraising email a year members receive.

It’s like secret squirrel stuff that must be kept secret and not spoken about.

I can't wait for someone to get drafted at like 12, and then just before everyone moves on Gold Coast just pipes up and matches the academy bid. No one knows whether he's actually in the academy, but they just let them have it.

Josh Bennetts won the Eastern Ranges B&F playing off a half forward flank. Try finding that anywhere as well...just heard it last night from an itk who saw every eastern ranges game.
Been told he has footy smarts and is a goal kicker and has good skills.
Hope to see him in Hawks colors.

Half forward and winger, I'm sure I saw him play wing a couple of times this year, played the VM Trial so was in contention, but didn't make the squad
