The Saints cornerback grabbing Evans on a ball he was never getting to for DPI, Taysom Hill dropping a pass that was all but completed, Mark Ingram stepping OOB for no reason.

The Brady luck is truly incredible.

Evans was more than likely catching that.

The Ingram no brains thing was the worst lol

I almost forgot another bit of Brady luck, Saints passing on 3rd and 1 with Dalton to Callaway, incomplete, stopping the clock, instead of running the ball up the middle like anyone with a brain would.

Nobody is better when facing prevent defences and getting it done in crunch time, ill give him that. But the amount of luck he gets via: calls, his defense bailing him out, opposition blowing themselves up etc isn't the same for any other QB.

I said during the Bucs vs Rams playoff game last year that he made a deal with the devil with everything going his way to keep him in that game and I stand by that. Its the only way it makes any sense.

He has this so completely wrong

We shall never EVER see a head coach as blindly lucky as BB

:)

BB was lucky to have a guy who made a deal with the devil on his side, no question about it.

But Brady's defense in NE also gave him some of the shortest fields to work with in league history statistically. Brady willing the defense to make plays and keep him in games is his greatest strength.

For all of Bradys luck, and having a great D he was still incredibly clutch in pressure cooker playoffs. He diced up the mighty Seahawks D, he did the unthinkable vs the Falcon, he drove the field vs Panthers and Rams, etc, and same vs the Saints today, that same kind of thing. Like his D helps him so much, but he still has to do his part ob offense, and he seldom fails.

Agree GG. We are in 2022 - Brady has done so many out of this world things in the span of the last 21 years - yet people are still saying it is luck, Good D and the refs.

Never change bigfooty

Absolutely agree with this. Others have had good D/calls go their way etc. They don't consistently get it done themselves though.

He is a generational talent. Only a handful of those guys throughout history of the game.

When you have someone like that at the most important position—it lifts everyone

As you rightly point out

he drove the field vs Panthers

Kasey also kicked it OOB on the kick off so Brady started at the 40, another example of a team blowing themselves up.

True, thats one, but there are many different starting points, the 20, 30, 40, wherever, but it gets done no matter.

When teams try and stop him going deep and leave underneath open he will cut you to pieces, there is nobody better at managing a clock and making throws to the sidelines at the end of games.

Yep the eagles in 52 played that last drive perfectly. He saw the deep shot missed the blitz and game over.

I can’t remember too many times since where he screwed up the opportunity

Check out nflmeme’s insta account for the non holding call on the Buc‘s offence.

Not required.....I will get plenty of live memes next week as the Bucs offensive line officials keep Bosa well away from the GOAT.

I'm not sure why teams just don't blitz him from the outside every play. Brady as much as he loves winning hates being hit more.
