Baker to the Rams. Why would they do that?

Stop 49ers getting him?

On that, maybe Stafford's spinal cord contusion is worse than we know and his career is in jeopardy ?

It's a little from column A and a little from column B.

Soundslike a good way to cover the Stafford recovery (short and long term).... And maybe a 10% chance to stop the 49ers from grabbing him (not that I think they were going to)

Which team is the most analytically advanced should be changed to which team relies the most on analytics.

I' have customers who have all the latest analytics tools and bottomless pits of money that they spend accordingly, but they still have no idea how much stock they have in their warehouse.
Exactly

BTW - It now means that Baker's 5th year option is spread over three teams:

Browns: $10,500,000 (paid as a bonus so that he could be traded to the Panthers)
Panthers: $3,508,556 (13/18ths of the residual ($4,858,000)
Rams: $1,349,444 (5/18ths of the residual ($4,858,000)

Total: $15,358,000 (guaranteed)

Mayfield remains a free agent going into the 2023 season

First ever Mr Irrelevant to throw a pass in the NFL.

That makes him sort of relevant.
Will make a good trivia question. will also be the first Mr. Irrelevant to start a game. or at least at QB

Media have dropped off the 49ers because of the Jimmy G injury despite Purdy doing a great job and getting the W against a higher ranked team on wins losses before the game.

I would love the Niners to back it up again this week, getting written off but they still have a tremendous D and goat will find it tough.

The big question is whether or not the 49ers have a sustainable winning formula with a QB3 leading the team. Time will tell with Buccaneers, Seahawks, Commanders, raiders, and Cardinals over the next 5 weeks.

So Jimmy may be back for the playoffs... Better update those power rakings

I have a dream.

Purdy leads the 49ers to the cusp of SB victory and Jimmy trots out to take a knee to kill the clock on the last offensive series.

This now replaces my Jason Verrett snaring the game winning interception fantasy.
