4: Hurts, Wentz, Mayfield, Jackson, Winston
5: Tannehill, Tagovailoa, Mills, M.Jones, Lawrence, Trubisky, D.Jones, Z.Wilson, Goff, Fields, Lance
6: Mariota, Smith, Brissett

Entire Tier 3 have been really poor. Rodgers I haven’t included as last years MVP gets more time. Brady looks old, like Father Time has finally found him.

Falling:
Brady, Burrow, Cousins, Ryan, Murray, Wilson, Carr, Mayfield

Rising:
Hurtz, Jackson, Tagovailoa, Lawrence

AJ Brown (Hurtz) and Hill (Tua) are elite WRs. Without Hollywood Browns drops Jackson is throwing better than his MVP season. All 3 looking like franchise QB going forward. I haven’t watched Jags enough yet to comment on Lawrence.

Young QB benefit from throwing to elite WRs, who would have thought?

Lawrence has looked amazing compared to last year, Doug has made all the difference, got Christian Kirk looking like money well spent and Zay Jones looking like a proper WR2 after not looking like a WR4 in any of his stops previously.

Also, Hollywood was excellent yesterday, if it wasn't for him the Cards wouldnt have been able to move the ball at all.

Thats not to say Lamar hasnt been better/great coz he has, just dont act like Brown is garbage.

Hurts the big surprise, I had high hopes for the Eagles this year but didnt expect this kind of QB play over the first three weeks. Hes spreading the ball out well, different receivers putting up big numbers each week.

Brown frequently dropped deep passes. AZ haven’t really targeted him deep. He is obviously better when throwing underneath and in space and not downfield. Which a surprise as his speed is his best weapon.

Took a massive contested catch deep the other week vs the Raiders. Murray targeted him a few times deep yesterday, should have had a TD on one but over threw him by a couple of yards.

Liking what i see from Lamar so far, determined to be considered a pocket passer, and has shown that. Still, he lacks touch at times for a variety of throws, and isnt getting ball to wide receivers, mostly over the middle stuff. Gotta elevate to fling it all day no fear to the boundaries

Who is he throwing it to?
Andrews (AllPro TE)
Bateman (second year player)
Duvenay (third year player)
Likely (rookie TE)

None of these WR are elite. None. Compare that to who other QBs are throwing to….

DC play Jackson differently. The outside CB play zone, a safety plays underneath zone and are watching Jackson to see if he is running out of the pocket. This causes less short and intermediate throws to be unavailable. Jackson YPA is this higher than most and his TD% is higher than all. More completions, more likely to be TD and less attempts. This is what the DC give him. He can’t dink and dunk, as the underneath players are ready for that. They are all watching him in case he runs off and makes them look silly with his duke move.

Touch passes are more useful underneath but he has become much better with midrange touch passes of late. Allowing more crossing patterns to be open.

Your determination to class him as a pocket QB, when DC don’t allow him to play as a pocket QB; isn’t a level playing field.

Lamar has to play Lamar ball. He is forced to throw deep; to tall targets; OR he runs the ball when DCs double cover Andrews and Bateman.

IF you change your pocket QB rankings to Playmaker rankings, as the QB is the playmaker; that would make more sense to me.

He had Brown last year and didn't get more out of him like kyler can. Bateman and duvernay are fine young players. Top qbs get young guys the ball still like Kyler to Dortch, Wibston to Olave, Flacco to Wilson, D.Jones and Rush to their young third stringers etc.

Top wrs certainly help too, like Tua made to look better with Waddle and Hill.

Lamar is greatly improved tho, be happy I'm acknowledging his development and moved him up a tier or two, hes on an incline in the rankings.

Once Brady, Rodgers, Stafford, Ryan retire he'll be one of the top QBs at his rate of rise.

Its QB not playmaker rankings. QB in terms of pure passing impressions

Wentz should be 6 or 7. He was deplorable against us.

I miss good Carson. What a flash in the pan that was.

He wasn't that bad over the first two weeks. Oline could block for s**t for him yesterday. Every time I looked up the Washington interior was getting their ass kicked, every QB would struggle with that sort of pressure.

That’s always been his problem though. Once he’s rattled, he completely shits the bed.

He missed 3 consecutive check down passes to open receivers yesterday in the 2nd quarter.

There’s absolutely no doubt the OLine sucked yesterday though.

Damn it ESPN. i just spat out some coffee because the week 4 ad made me laugh.

Agholor looks to lift the Pats past Rodgers and the Packers.

Do the Pats have no one else worth name dropping in a ad?

It will either be that or he drops everything his way with a couple of tips and at least one leading to a pick.
