So all of a sudden a basket case who were a fair few steps behind us in development even as recent as last year have now leap frogged us ? Says something doesn't it ?

We were a basket case only a few years ago.
Carlton hasn’t achieved anything and neither have we.

Its easier to steer the ship back on course if you're a big Victorian club with a famous name behind they just needed a competent coach (Voss) good football manager (Cook) good recruiting (Cerra, Hewett, Saad, Williams) and some injury luck in Curnow.

It also helps when they were s**t they still remained a destination club.
