Just curious, but how did they managed night matches prior to the light towers being added?

They didn't. They did have training lights on the top of the stands they'd turn on in the event that it would get dark late in matches, but they were ineffective at best.

For those in the Geelong region.

Few rainy days ahead, stay safe out on the roads.

What's been clear the last few times I've driven to work in the rain - there's a fair number of drivers that have either forgotten what it's like to drive in the rain or have very little experience doing so

A couple of weeks back watched a red P-plater take off from the lights, it was a simple left turn that they had to complete and they managed to fish tail it out of the turn simply because of how wet the road was & how heavy the rain was coming down - they were the first car out of the intersection, and looked like they attempted the turn as if it was dry weather, which it wasn't

Thankfully for them they corrected things & nothing bad happened, but they looked to be taking things a fair bit slower & with more caution after that

Why go to a comedy show if you don't like jokes?
It's so bizarre.
Just stay home and press on unfunny memes on Twitter or go see one of the crap PC "comedians" at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

There's a very real danger they might say something you don't agree with. Can't have that.

Pathetic, gutless and hilariously weak. I hope they are perpetually offended (oh wait, they are anyway).

Feck them.
