Surely we need to consider some other options like Walker, Chapman, Frederick and Johnson. Quality players who are looking at limited opportunities in their nominal preferred positions.
Certainly, but Worner is a winger first, and maybe Johnson? But he will be groomed at Peel first.
The others can play dual roles, multi positioned or utility.
Unfortunately injuries will occur and players will get their chance.
Competition is what will drive Freo to new highs, players won’t just turn up
to start.

Yes, wasn't disagreeing about Worner, but I don't have high expectations until we see some production from him.

They would be perfect to rotate through the wing but should still predominantly play in defence.

Reading that report on the Peel intraclub match last weekend, I saw Peel have picked up the player (Tyrell Metcalf) who kicked 3 goals for Swans in their colts 2021 premiership . Seems he was previously a Peel player except for that 1 season at Swans. Only had a handful of touches in that GF but I thought he looked like he had all the small forward tricks and was surprised he wasn't considered as a draft prospect... but is he overaged or something cause I think when I read the profile stats in the GF he was already 19yo

If I recall, off field issues as well.

Yes, they mentioned in the call that he had a 2 week suspension from the final round of H&A and was only eligible to play the GF because Swans lost the 2nd semi final. Somewhere in a report of Round 22 its described "as a very ordinary act at 3quarter time".

Not confirming off field issues, just other onfield issues.
