Adelaide Carlton Geelong Melbourne & Saints left to choose from. 4 of those teams have first round picks in play, while the Crows are effectively spectators after trading out of the second round.

I'll go the Saints and see if I can extend the drought

On my radar along with Lewis Hayes. Last pick Jayden Davey bid (meant to be better than his brother).
Would a big bodied Mid or Cowan be too much to ask for?
Jayden is a better size than Bro & could be an inspired late pick though the Bombers would match I feel unless they are forced to use 58 to acquire Alwyn. They may be prepared to go into deficit.

Was also eying Hustwaite or Keeler with the 2nd rounders.

Farken 6am here you buggers.

With the third selection North choose:

Elijah Tsatas

Prototype modern day running midfielder. Elijah runs all day (seriously) and will add to our midfield mix as an outside player who can go inside. Condifident, rangey, beautifully skilled and we believe with great leadership potential.

Others we considered for this pick were George Wardlaw and Harry Sheezel.

North also have the next pick coming shortly in lieu of any trade offers.

Just fwd your watch 3hrs.

With the fourth selection in the 2022 draft, North pick:

Harry Sheezel

After much deliberation, we chose Harry for his brilliance and XFactor. Having finished 18th for scoring again this year it would be remiss of us to choose another smaller midfielder, an area we have addressed in the last few drafts. We have lots of good young mids, but we really need to increase our scoring power and nobody does that in this draft quite like Harry.

(Also in the back of our minds was that Essendon have the next pick and we've left them a bit of a conundrum as they are loaded with smaller mids already. George Wardlaw is a fine player but we felt that we have that area covered with Will Powell. Plus Powell has been injured a lot and we don't wish to risk another potentially injury prone smaller mid who has already done 3 hamstrings as an 18yo. So that's our thinking. Bloody hope George Wardlaw doesn't win a Brownlow for Essendon some day !)

I'm hungover so going back to bed.
