Prediction 2022 Phantom Drafts

A lot of maybe the Afl did this, maybe that, could have, should have. Not a single sentence about him taking responsibility for his own actions. One strike policy for inflicting violence on a woman. What, are you suggesting there should be two strike, three strike policy. The man has shown to be a terrible human, who it appears does not have ability to learn or to adjust his behavior. It is not the Swan's responsibility to make him an agreeable human. That was primarily parental responsibility and once of age it is his own responsibility.

And as I posted. Times have changed.

Pick 39: North Melbourne: Harry Lemmey (after taking 2 smalls with their top 3 picks, north take a highly rated key forward who has massive star potential)
Ah yes, the "highly rated key forward" with "massive star potential" that goes in the 3rd round of a weak draft.

I just don’t think he’s top 5. Then I’ve excluded him from GC and WC based on go home rumours. I guess he could go 7 or 8 but I don’t think he’ll be what Geel or Hawthorn are after.
He's exactly what Hawks would like to get, but highly doubt he'll be there at Hawks pick

WilloTree's Final Mock Draft

Alright, I've come to the decision that with my year coming to an end, (work-related and that) I'll have another go at running a phantom draft this year, I'll set up the threads tomorrow. I allow live trading because its a point of difference to others on here. In my opinion, it's good fun, PM me if you want in, all welcome but it is first come first served. I'm gonna draft for the Saints, cause I want to.

Here's last year if you were curious about how they work;

Pick 1: GWS: Aaron Cadman (would bid on Ashcroft but want their man to get the 50k. comes from the countryside so can adjust in a new state)
Pick 2: Brisbane: Will Ashcroft (obvious bid)
Pick 3: North Melbourne: Harry Sheezel (gives much needed x-factor and doesnt have the go home factor)
Pick 4: North Melbourne: George Wardlaw (horne-francis replacement, can combine with LDU, Simpkin, and Phillips to form a scary midfield)
Pick 5: Essendon: Mattaes Phillipou (provides height and difference to a midfield with similar players and can push forward and rotate with stringer)
Pick 6: Gold Coast: Reuben Ginbey (gives the suns midfield height, pace and versatility. will combine well with anderson, miller and rowell)
Pick 7: Hawthorn: Elijah Tsatas (obvious pick for the hawks. gives their midfield pace and height. will combine well with ward, worpel and newcombe)
Pick 8: Geelong: Jhye Clark (another obvious pick here with the cats going for another local boy. ideal joel selwood replacement and got him for nothing)
Pick 9: West Coast: Cameron Mackenzie (mackenzie wont fall to their next pick so they take someone who can adjust to being interstate and provide class)
Pick 10: St Kilda: Bailey Humphrey (went hard for degoey but get a younger version of him. can push forward and win games in an 'exciting' saints team)
Pick 11: Carlton: Oliver Hollands (gives the blues a reliable rotation on the wing with blake acres. part of the plan to bring elijah home in a few years)
Pick 12: Western Bulldogs: Jedd Busslinger (liam jones is only a short term replacement and they think the eagles will take him with their next pick)
Pick 13: West Coast: Ed Allan (eagles have put a lot of work into him and the go home factor isnt a worry. provides height and speed to a boring midfield)
Pick 14: Melbourne: Matt Jefferson (shache isnt that big of a pickup and macdonald and brown are growing old)
Pick 15: Sydney: Lachlan Cowan (swans love their lightning half backs with good skills and long hair)
Pick 16: GWS: Elijah Hewett (after losing hopper and taranto, gws get a steal who will become a good player and trust that he wont go home)
Pick 17: Collingwood: Lewis Hayes (billy frampton is a risky option and moore has a struggling body so hayes can be a reliable option for them in the future)
Pick 18: Brisbane: Jaspa Fletcher (swans bid on a classy runner who would suit their team if he wasnt a father son)
Pick 19: Sydney: Oli Hotton (i honestly think that the swans are trying to get every player in their team to be quick and skillful. hotton is a perfect fit)
Pick 20: GWS: Jacob Konstanty (after losing bobby hill, they only have 2 reliable small forwards on their list. would combine well with bedford)

Pick 21: Essendon: Alwyn Davey Jnr (make the bombers lose their next few picks but would be a good fit to their team anyways)
Pick 22: GWS: Charlie Clarke (would make a perfect forward line with cadman, konstanty and bedford and is different to their other smalls)
Pick 23: West Coast: Darcy Jones (another small taken in the last few picks. after the departure of rioli and langdon, jones could be playing straight away)
Pick 24: Western Bulldogs: Josh Weddle (bulldogs get a slider who will allow busslinger to play loose. can lockdown any sized forward and is a great runner)
Pick 25: North Melbourne: Isaac Keeler (the roos finally pick a tall forward who can combine with larkey and comben. can play ruck and rotate with edwards)
Pick 26: Hawthorn: Bradyen George (hawks back in their medics to get his knee right. can form a great combination with brockman and butler up forward)
Pick 27: Collingwood: Henry Hustwaite (could be regarded as a slider but is the perfect pendlebury replacement and gives height and class to their midfield)
Pick 28: West Coast: Sam Gilbey (the eagles go for more homegrown talent who can rotate with ed allan and chesser on the half back and wing in years to come)
Pick 29: Collingwood: Mitch Szybowski (the pies pickup the future tom mitchell and taylor adams replacement. good backup for any midfield injuries)
Pick 30: St Kilda: Max Gruzewski (perfect pickup for the saints who will combine well with max king and can be thrown behind the ball if needed)
Pick 31: Carlton: Jaiden Magor (powerful forward who can mark and kick a bag. can have stints in the midfield and will combine well with fisher)
Pick 32: Fremantle: Jasper Scaife (bit of a bolter but the dockers can afford to take a risk need an athletic key forward who can combine with amiss in the future)
Pick 33: GWS: Harry Rowston (gws pickup rowston before any other club can. rowston can take marks and hit the scoreboard when forward)
Pick 34: St Kilda: Blake Drury (will be a reliable pickup. can tackle and kick goals. will be able to rotate with gresham as a small forward and midfielder)
Pick 35: Adelaide: Max Michellaney (port knock adelaide out of the draft. michellaney will be a solid defender but needs a couple of seasons to develop)
Pick 36: Port Adelaide: Harry Barnett (port struggled with rucks this year as finlayson was mainly their number 1 so barnett allows him to go forward again)
Pick 37: Melbourne: Coby Burgiel (after taking a tall with their first and losing bedford, dees take burgiel who will rotate through the midfield and forward with class)
Pick 38: Western Bulldogs: Luke Teal (doggies pick a skilful halfback with speed to burn who will take a few years to develop but can combine with bailey dale)
Pick 39: North Melbourne: Harry Lemmey (after taking 2 smalls with their top 3 picks, north take a highly rated key forward who has massive star potential)
Pick 40: Hawthorn: Anthony Munkara (was on track to being a top 10 pick. could be a star or bust but essendon wont be able to take him as he is one pick short)
Pick 41: Sydney: Adam D'Aloia (massive slider who could be the perfect josh kennedy replacement. clearance machine who can feed it out to the swans runners)
Yeah we're not reaching for an NGA listed player at pick 32.

WC should be grabbing Keeler if available at 25, or even Barnett.

Haha, did I say his father, don't mind being different. Yeah, No need to bid on Fletcher in the top 20, will go to Brisbane anyway. And Jefferson is my slider to either Bombers or Kangaroos at picks 23 & 24.
I'd be very surprised if Jefferson get past melb at pick 13. No way is he getting past top 20
