My starting mids next year:
Macrae, Steele, Oliver, Miller, Parish, Walsh, Neale, Bont.

Might just have to skimp a little on the other lines. :drunk:

Not sold on Parish yet, Zerrett seems more reliabe and they both will end up with similar averages this year as Parish has regressed a little from his hot form.

Will Crisp hang on to def status though? If he does lock him in for a stress free 2200 points, definitely will be a Mid/Def if he retains.

After the injury carnage this year, which has ruined my season from Round 1 (Rowell) to this weekend (Walsh, after Pendles and then Langford used up my last two trades), a guy who just simply doesn't miss is damned attractive. I reckon he'll be DPP, even on the weekend he played in defence until the 2nd half when they injected him into the middle. He only needs 34% of his time in defence, should piss it in

The team in my mind that I would like to start with would be.

Def: Lloyd,Stewart,Hall,Milera,Rookie,Rookie
Mid: Steele,Oliver,Macrae,Touk,Laird,Neale,Rowell,Rookie
Ruc: Gawn,Grundy
Fwd: Marshall,DeGoey,Rookie,Rookie,Rookie,Rookie

Clubs don’t screw each other like that though. If they genuinely rank him 1 fair enough they call his name. But if they don’t they won’t purposely call someone early just to screw another over.
It's not a case of "screwing" anyone. The dogs are using the current system To get a player they otherwise wouldn't. North can make sure a rival at least pays as high a price as possible.

Not quite right , it was well known around the club we intentionally bid on Ugle Hagen to cost the Bullies points so they could not get James Rowe . It only hit the media when it was blowing up about us costing Riley Thilthorpe the $10 k

According to Crows National Recruiting Manager Hamish Ogilvie, the decision to bid on Ugle-Hagan paid dividends by reducing their competition for the 2020 Ken Farmer Medallist.

We needed to do that, that was the strategy because we knew the Bulldogs had a pretty strong interest in James Rowe.

“Riley (Thilthorpe) was always our man. He knew what we thought about him and he wasn’t too worried about going pick two.”

That’s been well and truly debunked. It was a PR stunt by Adelaide to try and justify it. The dogs were never ever going to have a pick anywhere near where Rowe was expected to go.
Anyway this isn’t SuperCoach relevant and it’s been discussed to death on the trade boards.

*Tied Ken Farmer medallist

Nice team, but can't see it being affordable under the cap.
There's 13 premos + 2 mid-pricers (Milera, Rowell) when most years 12 premos pulls us up.

debunked by whom ? Ugle Hagan was never considered in front of Thilthorpe by us because of our appaling record of keeping Vic players and a very , now obvious strategy to draft SA lads , so why bid on UH otherwise , it makes no sense at all . You can trade picks to re position yourself in the draft. It is the very same reason we will probably pass on Callaghan this year being a pri@k relation of Beveridge we can’t keep Vic metro lads.

Not tempted by Darcy?

Not sure you'll be able to afford Neale priced at $550k odd at M6 unless all those rookies are $124k or less.

Not at the moment I think too many are Burning the great Gawndy combo a bit too early yet.

I'll probably consider Dylan Moore as a forward POD. Averaging just under 75 so would be priced at about 400k, but four of his last seven scores have been tons. Much better average 2nd half of season than 1st half. Role is only going to get more and more SC friendly IMO

Back to the drawing board folks... Everyone's M1 has just retired... As well as everyone's DPP D3/F3:

It’s been a tough year for Tom Rockliff, who has battled deep vein thrombosis and multiple knee surgeries. And now the Port Adelaide midfielder is bowing out.

I do that regularly. I feel like 2020 didn't happen.
Same. I often say "last year" when referring to 2019. Last 1.5 years has literally disappeared
