Gawn is nothing special in the ruck, he does his best work behind the ball and has improved his impact as a forward this year. Playing Jackson in the ruck more allows Gawn to play spare behind and roam wherever he wants. Jackson is a ******* beast too
Come on man, he is an excellent ruck with a some gun mid's to tap it too.
If he goes 90+ you can have my socks."breakout"

his tap work has been excruciating ask any dees supporter. was good last week though, some of his best ruckwork ever.
Watching Darcy and Nic Nat get KotD points for bugger all has me wanting to start them next year. What could go wrong! I'll pick Marshall if he has DPP as cover.

.Darcy a beast.
I can see him eating out a whole KFC....
Inj prone beast tho.
Yet nuffies still think he's KOTD.
Freo supporters might know more, but from memory a couple of months ago he's taken leave from the club for personal reasons. Dunno if he's back in the fold or not.Freo supporters, Will Valente ever get a crack?
GnR next year IMO - will be plenty of promising rookies with a year or two in the system (Hollands, Sharp, various Crows, McInnes, Wehr, Downie, Kelly, Valente)![]()
No current season stats available
Yet nuffies still think he's KOTD.
For all the talk about rucks, nobody has mentioned Tom de Koning. Averaged 68 in his last 7 games, including an injury affected 18. 4/7 of those games were 80+. Perfect age for a breakout. Not saying I'm picking him, but will be watching closely in the PS. Priced at 59.8. Dunno if he would have played enough forward early on to get DPP.
The improvement in Draper this year has been dramatic ....3 tons this year, but highly variable scoringHe probably won't be solo rucking when Pitto comes back. Can't see him averaging 70+ in a R/F role.

Whats impressed is his leap is better, jumped over Grundy in R23 .....but importantly has started to take marks
This was the knock on McInerny ....above ave tap ruckman, but hard hands ......he's also improved in his marking
10 point jump in McInerny's ave this year ....Draper's way better, and can see a 90+ ave next year
I'll have Draper on my watch list .....who knows at this stage, how he developsNot sure if the Draper chatter is correct here mate, based on 20% reduction in game time he is statistically about the same as he was last year, which isn’t a good thing.
He had that one brilliant game against Hawks with the intercept marking but overall I thought he didn’t show much improvement, and SC scoring wise he jumped from 70 to 72.
He still battled against the good rucks (Lycett 23, Gawn 55, Goldy 64, Mummy 61, Grundy 42). Against lesser rucks his average was 90.
Will depend on his draw but I wouldn’t think his jump next year would be anything significant, maybe 85-90 but the year after would be where I think he makes the big jump.

Will watch this weekend with keen interest
Don't disagree with the scoring variance .....that's his challenge, to be consistent and take more marksYeah for sure mate, looking at his body, he is a beast. 205cm and huge.
Think he needs to do more around the ground to be in that ‘pick me’ category and also needs to win more HO’s but as he’s still raw can probably expect huge variance still.
Jy Caldwell named for Essendon on Sunday.
Free look at him for next year.
Assume he'll be priced at 70 with a discount, if's he's fwd/mid again then he's worth a good look I reckon.
Will be watching with interest
Best thing about Draper is watching whether the ball will hit his boot or shin when he drops itNot sure if the Draper chatter is correct here mate, based on 20% reduction in game time he is statistically about the same as he was last year, which isn’t a good thing. (8.3 touches, 1.9 marks, 18.5 HO’s > 9.4 touches, 2.2 marks and 22.6 touches)
