Obviously it depends where the rookies are, but loading up down back, in the middle and in the ruck, then taking a risk in the forward line looks to be the move (it has worked for a couple of years now). I think it'll be the same again in 2022.

Bailey, Butters, Thomas, Cameron, De Goey, Naughton, Rozee??? Pickett??? All averaging under 85, all could improve greatly on that.
Any others cheapies that are likely to get FWD eligibility?

I reckon it'll look something like this: (cbf doing some quik mafs to see if that'll likely be too expensive)
D: Stewart, Lloyd, Ridley, Hall/Short
M: Macrae, Bont, Steele, Oliver/Walsh, Neale*
R: Darcy, Grundy
F: Marshall, Butters/Thomas, De Goey

*If Neale has a full pre-season, he's pretty close to a must-have priced at a ~100 average

Dan Rioli should get Def/Fwd eligibility next year. Could do a Dale/Atkins/Impey/Jiath if he keeps his new and lucrative HB role next year.

Oh yes, I like it. We just need Bachar to retire, will help Short and will allow Rioli to stay in defence.

I'm not sure that HB role will be a full time role for him we have so many players missing at the moment he was put down there because he has been :poo: forward all year. As a Tigers supporter I don't think his last 2 games have been that good although he has scored well in SC.

Tiges have plenty of other small forward options going forward. Got to give him more than 2 games to get used to playing an unfamiliar role.

I also think Schoenberg is primed for a 90+ breakout next year through natural progression. Not sure if he maintains M/F eligibility though. His scoring has improved the last few weeks whilst playing run with roles on the best opposition mids. Should help his development to frontline mid if Steele/Touk/Keays are any indication.

Ooooh I didn't even realise he had FWD DPP now. I was looking at his recent stats and scoring after his Rising Star nom. He's a little piggy, going to be a very good player. Might have to lock him in next year if he keeps the FWD DPP.

Piggy looks like he's had a productive summer in the gym. He's gone from pork belly to loin.

Now I'm hyped for 2022. If he loses FWD DPP I'll cry...
 
I think Matt Rowell will be a popular pick next year they seem to easing him back the games he has played the last 7. Currently averaging 62 even if that goes up to 70 he will be well under $400k next year.

very low TOG still, think still in the 60's to 70's. can somebody fact check that?

How about do it yourself? :moustache:

Rowell is just getting through the season without injury, that's the only goal. He just needs to play and get a few games and will go bang after a big pre-season. He put on quite a bit of muscle last pre-season, expect he'll be a lot fitter round 1. Will be hard to ignore under $400k.

Noah Anderson could be worth a look too. A few Suns finishing the season well which is a good sign. Flanders going OK, Luko will get better if the whole team gets better, which they really should next year.
