The dare, the dash, the run and carry, and the big balls to try pull off a kick that he didn't have the ability to pull off. I like quick players, I like half backs, I like players that aren't boring. He used to try hard, love that as well.
I liked him at port.
Not in my own team.
Poor judgement.

How cheap are you expecting him to be? He’s fine just a bit meh and a dime a dozen midfielder for me.
Constable's $262K as we speak .....his selection in SC is dependant on which team he goes to, IMO

You'd love Frosty

He wouldnt get a game at north.
We already have excess mids.
Yes, you're overflowing with elite talent .....where are you on the ladder again 🤣

No, seriously though ......he'd be the backup for Cunnington, as you don't have an inside player similar .....Constable is that inside player

Not saying North should chase him BTW

That’s the thing, which teams are crying out for a limited slow inside mid?
If you find that team ....we have a Matt Crouch we'd like to sell :moustache:

Maybe GC, given Greenwood has done his ACL .....and is 30+

I'll stand to be corrected, but IIRC Pittard was once ....and only once an AA player
The AFL is full of these awards used to prove players are good/bad. I love the "he finished 8th in the BnF 3 years ago!" stuff.

The AA teams are often strange and are voted on by just a few blokes I think? Not sure it proves much.

History with Pittard suggests absolutely nothing ......Port sold a lemmon there

At the start of the CD ranked all the clubs by position.
North had the second best mids to the dogs.
Im not saying i agree with that but its actually our strongest line.
cunners, simpkin, Ldu, Jed, Powell, thomas, Phillips, Dumont and Lazarro.
+ the number 1 draft pick most likely, which will be a mid.
We dont need a constable type we need taller players.

Which still amazes me ...sorry off topic ....but taking a mid in last years Draft, full of Talls, knowing this year was exclusively a Mids Draft .....seemed very odd

Tarrant (32 yo) to DGB sounded good IMHO ....or Logan McDonald
Get Horne this year

I think the plan is to turn it around before a kpp develops.
the club has high hopes for comben, Mckay, larkey and Coor.
Grab the next tom lynch, steven may type in a few years through FA.
build from the midfield out like the doggies have done.

If Adz has a full pre-season, I'd consider him priced at a 90 average. With Libba, Dunks, Bont and Macrae feeding him the ball to run and carry, kick inside 50, and even kick goals, he could easily pump out a 110+ average. He looked unreal for that stretch of 4 or 5 games this year. His scoring dropped off as soon as Dunks got injured.
Soft tissue injury history now, but it was a syndesmosis that put him down this year, but if he can get his body right, could be a great pick for his price.
And just for old time sake, to have that beautiful man in my side would pretty much make my season.

Carlton co-captain Patrick Cripps has “aged badly” and “become a journeyman” in the space of two years, according to AFL legend Leigh Matthews.

The 26-year-old’s form has wavered since his dominant 2018 and 2019 seasons, where he won Carlton’s best and fairest, became a dual All-Australian and took out the Leigh Matthews Trophy for the league's Most Valuable Player.

Shoulder and back injuries over the last two seasons have contributed to Cripps’ dip in form after the midfielder was viewed as one of the premier players in the competition.

“I can’t believe how badly he’s aged,” Matthews told Sportsday.

“Two years ago, he won a lot of the awards, but he won the Players’ Association Award, and he was close enough to the best player in the game – that was two years ago.

“He was 24 then in 2019. He’s now turned 26.

“He’s never had much of a leap, I suppose, but he just looks like he’s lost his mobility and agility. He’s still probably got his strength, but he just doesn’t move the same as he did two years ago.

“So therefore, he’s become like a journeyman. I mean, he was the best player in the game, now I don’t think he’d be in the All-Australian squad for instance – he’s just aged so badly.

“What’s happened that I don’t know about? Well, you don’t know what you don’t know. All I know is when I see him now, he’s such a different football athlete than he was two years ago.”
