2021 was an absolute shocking year for me. Full of PODs who never worked out, wasting trades on players who got injured and rookies who had as much playing time as I did this season. So I thought what a time to start gathering some ideas and cheeky thoughts we have for next years SuperCoach.

For me,
- I have a good eye on Matt Crouch, might be a bit cheaper but still might not be able to score as high with the breakout of Keays, Laird in the mid and seedsman.
- Mitch Duncan will be a MID/FWD, lock it in already
- Will Luke Jackson take away more points from Gawn next year...is it time to take a gamble on Sean Darcy with Grundy?
- James Sicily, will he be alright enough to average some good scores again?
- Cam Rayner coming back from injury, could be a solid POD in the forward line

My current locks at the moment will be Grundy, Mills, Bont, Macrae and Dunkley.

No injury prone campaigners like Jelly and Treloar.🤬

Forget prior history. I left Bont anithers out because his first half if the season is usually worse than his second half. 😪

Absolutely zero Hunter Clark break out contenders 🤦‍♂️

I'm already planned
DEF: Lloyd Hall Lukosius rookie rook rook
MID: Bont Steele Walsh Macrae Petracca Daicos Horne rook
RUC: Darcy Grundy Comben
FWD: Marshall English Jackson rook rook rook.

Lock it in.

Def: Ridley, Sexy Tom Stewart, maybe Sicily, Gould
Mid: Macrae, Steele, Walsh, at least one of Miller/Bont/Parish, maybe a fallen premo like Yeo/Mrouch/Rowell :moustache:
Ruck: Gracey, $102k r/f donut
Fwd: Marshall, Butters, Tarryn Thomas/Jackson/Rozee a maybe. English if R/F.

Not taking risks on any line other than the forwards next year. Unsure on Daicos/Horne at this stage. We have been spoiled with Walsh and Rowell in the last few years, but the high priced rookies are often not worth it.

Want to avoid starting a M5 that isn't an SP this year, need to aim for a SP or drop to a cash cow.

Key criteria for all premo's is likelihood of playing 22 games.

All depends on where the rookies are too.

You can lock Horne into your starting side .....like Rowell, ready to go

and daicos, most recruiters say he'd be getting a game for the pies now and playing full time on ball.

I find MELB press tend to exaggerrate for the COLL faithful .....so I'll tread carefully on Daicos

Maybe, but rookies starting @$200k need to average 80+ really to make enough money to trade out by round 8-10. Not many 18 years can come in and do that.

Rowell only lasted 5 games and Walsh averaged 86 and topped out at about $440k from memory.

We'll have to see, but it will be difficult fitting in 2 x $200k rookies.
