Coniglio only played 2 games at 71 average probably won't play again this year. Should receive a 10% injury discount and be priced at 64 but probably won't because CD.
If they apply the Callan Ward formula then the magic number is 125k and 0 discount for a munted knee

He’s the master at keeping his IP under wraps as well.
Yes, only talks about his trades after they are done, very clever.

I was joking, much more satisfying to succeed off your own work.
More than happy to share! Plus, the number of times I've been helped by this board is insane. I feel its a combination of luck and following the 10 commandments in the thread on this board.

These are the golden rules!

1. Players are either in your team to be a keeper or make 150k or more.
2. Start at least 12 keepers if possible, of which at least 10 of your keepers should be safe and proven picks (good scoring in their last 2 complete seasons, good durability, passable preseason).
3. Start no more than 3 midpricers if possible (210 > 450-500k depending on which line).
4. Don't pick anyone with a questionable or subpar injury record (eg. Zilliams and Jelly).
5. Ensure that everyone is playing in round 1 including the entire bench is possible (sometimes theres no rookie price ruck thats playing).
6. No massive POD captaincy selections + when choosing your captain watch out for likely tags or undoubtedly great matchups.
7. Pay attention to role changes, some are more SC friendly than others. Don't pay too much attention though (I'm looking at you Dan Houston).
8. DO NOT MISS OUT on a Reilly O'Brien type rookie ever again.
9. Try to avoid picking up premos at top dollar, instead try to get them after they've plummeted from an injury game or justifiable shocker of a score (tagged or team just got smashed).
10. Never sideways trade your premos without great reason, eg. potentially permanent role change that renders them a way worse scorer, or absolutely abysmal scoring that leads to them being dropped.

BONUS: When trying to choose which rookie to play onfield, pick the rookie with more games played and a track record of decent scores like say 65ish (ideally a good 3 round average) over a 2nd gamer who went big in their 1st game (eg. 90 plus). Too often these guys dish out a 30 something in their second game and your more reliable rookie scores another 70.
This is the number one rule imo - If you are paying 400k+ for a player, you genuinely believe they will finish top 6/8 in their line, or extremely close. If you pay 350k for a player, they either need to appreciate to 500k or they arent worth it.

definitely have some lessons learnt this season which i can add

lessons and guidelines mainly observed from my mistakes

eg. paying up 650k for steele in round 5... when your completed team is in sight then you can pay up as by then you ought to have some idea of what you can afford doing for the last say 4 upgrades. But before like round 11ish you should really try to avoid paying up (usually its overs). The extra cash saved will really come in handy even if its uncomfortable initially having say 80k in the bank which could be more points initially. it could mean upgrading sooner later on or even finishing with a better team because you later find you are 80k better off for that final upgrade.

will add some more later

Matty Rowell is going to be dirt cheap next year. Reckon $250k - $300k.
My mids atm Walsh, Steele, Macrae, Tracc, Rowell, Berry, Horne, Daicos.
That's ****ing cheeky

Stewart, Lloyd, Crisp
Macrae, Steele, Oliver, Bont, Neale
Darcy, Grundy
Marshall, De Goey, Thomas

Hard to argue with that. I'll only take speculative picks in the forward line. Doubt I'll be able to get any more "keepers", especially when you add the high price cash cows (Daicos? Milera?)

Not sure the Gull is a must have any more, Sydney's improvement means he gets less chips.

Crisp and De Poey is your Pies-eyes at work :p

Like the luko one, he's on the watchlist for me.

Marshall in the rucks is a waste, he'll be r/f.
i like him over Grundy, means i could fit in 3 fwd premos.

Fair enough, but Grundy will probably average higher than any forward premo.
i just don't think Grundy goes 120+ again with the shittest midfield of all time at his feet.

Why?
De Goey as a midfielder for that price is too hard to ignore. Look at his 3 and 5 Rd average. Do you think he'll go back to full forward? Won't happen. Injury concern is the issue, not role and scoring. Worth a risk at his price.
And Crisp with back to back 100 Averaging seasons, and never misses a game.

Each to their own, but I see Crisp as that level below SP, solid reliable player though.

De Goey despite his good recent form is too big a question mark. Will the new coach play him in the mid's? What happens when he gets a new contract? Reckon he's playing for his future at present, but will that last?. I don't think so.
