Am I putting my Crows glasses on or is Harry Schoenberg a legit option next season?

This was my first supercoach season so not entirely sure but he’ll be about 350-400k. Has gone 90+ 3 of the last 5 games, had a 68 score on the weekend but that was with 31 possessions and gave away 4 frees so could have easily been big. Is getting more midfield time and seems to be the guy they’re gonna bring in as Sloane gets less and less mid time. Thoughts?

If he keeps FWD/MID DPP, he 100% comes into considering.

A few of us were speaking about him a few pages back:

Not sure what a ~50 average prices him at, but Ruscoe playing half back as an expensive cash cow has to be considered. He's really impressed down back. Noble has been moved to a wing and Madgen will drop out for Moore, he'll play every game. He should also have DEF/FWD DPP.

Depends where he is playing but yeah. Neale M4, Mrouch M5 JBerry M6 could be the play.

Macrae, Steele, Walsh, Neale, MCrouch.
Lock it in.

What discount will he get for missing a full season? Started at $595k this year, what will he be roughly?

iirc it's 20% for the full season.
There's been a bit of chat about it on twitter today after freako tweeted about him.

Roughly
470k~ if he gets 20%
410k~ if he gets 30%

So probably about 520k because they make up the rules as the go along.

How does pricing work for players that finished the season well, or had injuries which deflated their price?

I.e. where would Aaron Hall likely end up in price? And can we expect to see Gawn, Grundy and Darcy all similarly priced as their average is the same or will Darcy’s fast finish in comparison to Gawndy’s slow one mean he’ll be a higher price?

Agreed :padlock:

SC always seem to be kents with prices. But if Mrouch is low $400k's he will be in every serious team and it's boring so I kind of get why they do it.

all priced off average, doesn't matter when they score. So Aaron Hall is likely to be 5-10 points underpriced and still presents some good value

Price is based on average
Discounts only occur when players miss lots of games or the entire season for injuries

Hall will get priced on his average at the end of the year. Currently 102.2 which on last years pricing would give him a start price of $549k. Which makes him value as he's averaging a bit higher as a half back seagull.

If they play most of the season their prices aren't adjusted, only if they miss most or all the season (like Matt Crouch for example)

Generally a player would get a 30% discount if they miss a whole season. Discounts range from 10 to 30% depending on time out, but it's also completely at their discretion. When Titch missed a year, he only got a 10% discount simply because they knew if they gave him the full 30% everyone would start him, making it too easy. In a nutshell, Min for Crouch will be 10%, max 30%.

As previously answered, it's based on averages. Based on this years output, Hall will be underpriced at the start of next year, Was the medical sub in round 2, and concussed in round 5. Scored 6 and 37 in those two games. Currently averaging 102.2 for the year, but averaging 113 since round 7, with only one score under 100. Only caveat with Hall is he does have a history of soft tissue injuries and will be the wrong side of 31 by the start of next season.

Most likely end up as a pod

I do question if age is going to be as much of an issue for him considering he’s played a lot less footy than a normal 31 year old and is playing a relatively bruise free role.

I’ll probably role the dice on him in terms of injury if he’s good value as he’s a pretty safe scorer the way him and North play, I’ve had him this year and it’s so relaxing watching him get every cheap kick available.

Yeah I'll probably start him again next year if he's fit and firing through the preseason. I jumped on pretty early this year and luckily he hasn't missed a game.

Was almost laughed off the forum when I called him “future piglet” the day before his debut , a fat little kid who outpointed Rowell and Anderson in the under 18 champs , very very happy with his development , now getting 40% of CBA’S which will get better next year 👍
