I've been taught he has extra love for the losers, so us SC deros must be at the front of the queue.
I've heard he's a very strict guns and rookies man.

I don't subscribe to the theory that midpricers are either keepers or they are cash cows. I think it's too black and white in a game that is grey.

My thinking regarding midpricers is a mixed approach, I call it "Improvers".

It's all about thresholds for improvement, it's hard to explain but I'll try my best.

Say you've got a $200k second year player, no concerns over JS. Fin Macrae for example.

Let's say he takes that 40 avg to 60+
If a player does that, then it's likely they'll make $100-150k cash yeah.
But, 60 avg is the same as what you'd expect from a decent enough rookie, so why did you spend the extra cash to get the same results?
So then, a 200k player would have to average 70+ to be worth it yeah? Makes more cash and provides greater points.

But it's different at all starting prices.
Let's say Luke Jackson. Priced at a 70 average so around $400k give or take a bit.
For him, a jump of 20 puts him at a 90 average, that's good for the forward line and makes him a forward premo, but at that starting price he's not gonna make $150k and get to $550k.

I think just look at their points scored and not cash made, because you could be losing points elsewhere.
Isaac Cumming fits within that bucket.

He was the only thing I got right this year.

93 average at a starting price of about $290k (+$200k for the season).

There are always a few like that that jump from around $300k to being keepers. Bailey Dale another.

Very difficult getting them right though. Well done getting Cumming.

:moustache:

That's right Jebus loves you unconditionally as long as you follow his rules. Not sure that's unconditional but anyway :moustache:
mate it's ****ing hilarious yeah. Strict catholic boys school, over 1500 kids here. Out of all the people i know, there are 2 people that i know go to church regularly. we have to do surveys for the church too and everyone just takes the piss.

This gives me hope for your generation.

i'd doubt catholic schools are a big thing in 30 years time. We'll become a bit more similar to NZ soon in that regard.

Most of the private schools here are nominally religious, but not many take seriously.

We better change the subject back to SC before someone gets triggered though.

Jesus told me the Meek shall inherit the earth, so I took him instead of Flynn. i wont be listening to that campaigner next season.

Listening to work colleagues in meetings sends me to sleep so I put my time to better use and came up with a team based on Brice Mitchells price projections for 2022.

Def : Lloyd/Hall/Crisp/Short/Rioli/124/124/124
Mid : Macrae/Oliver/Mitchell/Neale/NDaicos/124/124/124/124/124/103
Ruc : Gawn/NicNat/103
Fwd : Dawson/Marshall/DeGoey/Horne/124/124/124/124

10k to spare, will be nothing like my actual Round1 starting team I am sure. Cogs at 258k will be fit in somewhere plus bring a couple of other 250k-300k guys in to replace Mitchell and 2 124k players.

Dawson as a forward? 🤔

3 lessons learnt:

1. Don't trade guns unless absolutely necessary. Waste of trade & they usually come back into form.
2. Have depth. It might mean less cheapies/guns but injuries meant my team was fkd this year.
3. Trust gut decisions, wanted touk miller but didn't pull the trigger. Backed myself re I.Smith & he did well in the 2nd half of the season.

Hmm, he plays wing now. Think mid/def would be more appropriate for him. Either way, he'll definitely be dpp.

Prob got my wires crossed mixed in with a bit of wishful thinking I guess. He was D/F in past seasons and he has pushed up the ground this year so I prob got carried away haha.

Useless mofo Adam Cerra has asked for a trade "to Victoria" lol. Andy Brayshaw comes into midfield calculations for me now. Might be the answer if I can't afford 4 x$600k + mid's.

You never learn do you?????????????????
