Dons just signed Jake Kelly from the Crows...

This should FREE up Ridley for that juicy high scoring intercept role!

Just going off their R23 line up, Cutler is the obvious out for Kelly in the BP isn't he?
Is Hurley alive again yet?

Just needs to get the chips back after Redman started to pinch them and he should be a pretty easy pick.

You mustn’t watch many Crows games, Butts is our main key defender. Murray played half the season and showed promise, and there’s a few guys in the twos who need opportunity. Kelly isn’t really a key back anyway.

I like Kelly, but he’s the definition of a decent battler.

Murray is a maybe, but Butts is a future All Australian, his career is progressing very similarly to Talia’s.

Assume that bloke McAsey comes in? 10 games @ 37 in his first season. Didn't play this season (due to being a spud?) So might get a discount to $160-170k? KPD's don't usually score well though.

Your post was the first I heard of this, so don't know the details .....but Kelly is a role player only .....he's not a key position player at 189cm, playing HBF and BP

Has terrible disposal, but can lockdown both talls and smalls .....good call by ESS given their defensive makeup

We have so many defensive options at the Crows .....so not a player that will be missed, other than for his experience for a young group

Not necessarily, has had an interrupted run but we’ve trialled him forward in the 2s this season, he might slip down back but my guess is Worrell will be the guy to slip straight in.

Love for McAsey to standup .....but he's a really slow burn & hasn't shown much in the SANFL ...where he's mainly being played fwd
Jury is out on him

Frampton looked good in his couple of games as a defender ......was a no hoper as a fwd & would be delisted at the end of 2022 if he continued to try and be an AFL FWD
But has a chance to be a decent KPD

Poor old Danger. And Cameron. And Rowan. Picked the wrong club to buy a flag.

Genuinely feel for Jelwood tho. That bloke is heart and soul.

Hard to feel too sorry though, we‘re one step closer.

Shattered it’s not at the G tho. Imagine waiting this long and watching from your lounge room (I’ve physically attended 20 grand finals this century)
