Don't think I've ever watched him closely, every time the Tigers played, I was too busy screaming "WHERE THE fu** IS SHORT" or "WHY THE fu** DO I HAVE CHAI BOLT-ON IN MY SIDE" or "WHY THE fu** DOES DUSTY ON TRY IN FINALS"
Thanks to Houli going down. The last few rounds gave him a big boost.Chol could make it as a third tall, but has no physicality, so zero chance of making at a ruckman.
Harsh on Shorty. 6th defender for total points.
Short should be a good pick next season with Houli retiring. Doubt Rioli will be on kick in duty. Thanks to Houli going down. The last few rounds gave him a big boost.
Just frustrating seeing those 70s early on.
I'll most likely start him again next season.
Short is a safe 95-100 average. He has 105+ potential, that's the frustrating thing. Hopefully next year!Short should be a good pick next season with Houli retiring. Doubt Rioli will be on kick in duty.

Completely disappearing for long period's of the game doesn't help either. Not sure the kent had a touch in any 3rd quarter this season, always seemed to be on 60 at HT then 58 at 3QT.Vlastuin continuing to take kick ins will hurt him.
The stand rule has seen him going from getting stuff all CPs to getting fu** all CPs, that's what is really putting the cap on his ceiling.

I think the ball will be down his end a bit next season so he should get enough to score well. Maybe the tigers change game style too, he might get to sea-gull more effectively.

would guess there would be a couple more draftees in it. that hb line is a massive concern. forward line is pretty hot, mids too, just need a ruck.View attachment 1237896
A very early best 22 for North next year.
Patrick Walker will be very close to a game. basement priced defender. He played a bit on the wing this year in the VFL may get m/d dpp.
What's the feedback on Edwards progress for next year .....possible playing R3 ?View attachment 1237896

Our major problem is we have very few players between 25-29.would guess there would be a couple more draftees in it. that hb line is a massive concern. forward line is pretty hot, mids too, just need a ruck.
Doubtful if we get CCJ.What's the feedback on Edwards progress for next year .....possible playing R3 ?
Yeah, makes sense ....Xerri probably B4 Edwards ....although Comben his highly rated as a KPFDoubtful if we get CCJ.
Edwards is very skinny.
If CCJ comes in its likely Tom Campbell retires, Xerri plays first ruck in the VFL.
and Edwards/Comben plays KPF in the VFL.
At the moment we havealso, you guys have too many mids. cunnington will be gone in a year or 2, goldy done next year. Powell, Simpkin, LDU, Cunners, Phillips, Horne, Dumont, Anderson, Mcdonald, Thomas, Lazzaro, Stephenson can play on a wing then your depth players or whatever.
Reckon Dumont and or Anderson will have to go, then try find a ruck
You guys are making some good list choices .....got some very professional operators at the club nowAt the moment we have
Goldy, Campbell, Xerri, Edwards, Comben as possible rucks.
+ CCJ if he comes in.
Im not sure ruck is a pressing need.
Brady Rawlings picks amazing second rounders in the draft. You guys are making some good list choices .....got some very professional operators at the club now
Plus Noble is a class operator & oversaw recruitment at the Crows ....North ticking a few box'sBrady Rawlings picks amazing second rounders in the draft.
His record at WC before he came back to north was awesome.
Glen Luff who used to run CD is our head of analysis.
That's why we have had for SC relevant players over the last few years.
Do you think you will go with the Ziebell/Hall combo again? Ziebell seemed a bit superfluous toward the end of the year. With Tarrant and Corr there is enough experience. Is it just a case of he has to play somewhere?View attachment 1237896
