you won't get that, just because you finished last doesn't mean you are that badIs it just a case of he has to play somewhere?
yep.
Could you guys draft a hbf?
Maybe. I think a KPD is more likely.
Noble has said he can never have enough mids who run both ways.
JHF will be our first pick.
who knows @20. It seems like there will be a bunch of KPF's available around that mark. we dont really need more of them. so probably another mid or a small forward.
We applied a few days ago to the AFL for a priority pick.
If that happens IDK what we do lol.
Doubtful if we get CCJ.
Edwards is very skinny.
If CCJ comes in its likely Tom Campbell retires, Xerri plays first ruck in the VFL.
and Edwards/Comben plays KPF in the VFL.
reckon he'll be nearly 50/50 split, maybe North play 2 rucks then?CCJ wanting to play more in the ruck came as a surprise to me.
Thought he was pretty ordinary in the ruck, decent enough to offer a chop out, but seems like he wants to be their to take over from Goldy in the near future.
Weve won less game over the last 2 years than GC.you won't get that, just because you finished last doesn't mean you are that bad

i have your list way ahead of Hawthorn, Collingwood and Adelaide. I hope the AFL can look past pure W/L because anybody who watched your second half of the year knows that you don't need itWeve won less game over the last 2 years than GC.
GC still have the first pick of the second round as a PP. pick 19.
Gc also have 4 extra players on there rookie list.
North have a good chance of getting both.
we wont get pick 2.
But pick 19 + 4 extra rookies doesnt really affect any other club so i think its obtainable.
The Afl factors in injuries to the equation.i have your list way ahead of Hawthorn, Collingwood and Adelaide. I hope the AFL can look past pure W/L because anybody who watched your second half of the year knows that you don't need it
I thought the same about his ruck work tbh.CCJ wanting to play more in the ruck came as a surprise to me.

With no VFL over the last few years Im not sure hes played enough to actually improve.
Richmond have such quality talls hes been stuck in the seconds and most of the games have been cancelled.
+ the tigers having to pay out Premiership bonus's last year in a covid year has left them skint.
North have got very lucky here IMO.

it ranges from nothing with a PSD pick to whatever we offer ie bugger all.what are you getting CCJ for?
wait, they're giving him 4 years???I agree 100% it is no one else's fault if a team drafts poorly. I'm not saying North have but CCJ is a perfect example he could be a stroke of Genius or a complete bust. Throwing a 4 year deal at $450k a year at a player who has played 8 games should not be rewarded down the track if it fails.

fu** that's way too much for him, but it must've been needed to get him out of richmond and north do have the cash to spend

He would have already played 50 games if we had drafted him.I agree 100% it is no one else's fault if a team drafts poorly. how much is Chol getting at the Suns for reference?
There is only a couple of clubs in the afl with cap room.CCJ seems like the kind of player who that deal could become a stroke of genius or some serious dead weight for the Roos, hope for their sake it’s a front ended deal.
look the 2 of them are talented but they've shown nothing so far to suggest they're worth that, they're basically taking the punt that they'll break out. very riskyNot sure on how much money but he was offered 4 years as wel.
i hate that rule, you're just paying players for the sake of it, should be no minimum amount, would make player movement really interesting but then you could see teams tank/play kids a lot more like the NBAThere is only a couple of clubs in the afl with cap room.
North being one of them.
All north deals are front ended. We had enough cap space to offer Jelly crazy money.
Gotta spend it or you lose it.
Collingwood finish last next year IMO.
List seriously lacks quality, i think they'll be rookie central next year along with Hawthorn

yeah maybe, i'd think it would be flattened out a bit more, don't think the player would want all his cash in one lump sum. Would think it would be closer to 600k 600k 300k 300k.I see ccj getting this.
900k, 600k, 150k and 150k.
for a 4 year 450k average.
North have young blokes that will want pay rises in a couple of years.
