First supercoach tag for 2022 😍

Hai gaiz!

Just curious as to why people are tagging me now?

Why didn't you start me? If it was injury concerns, why are there none now? To me it was either start me or bring me in as last upgrade.
A team are here now kent

Wait till team picker comes out.

We will show them how to pick a pre round 1 last minute team in December

The potential role for Elijah Hollands in 2022 has been further explained, he is likely to be used through a midfield/forward role but with his elite disposal could see some time spent across half-back.

Gold Coast Recruiting Manager Kall Burns provided the latest update on Hollands in an interview with Callum Twomey last week on the Road to the Draft Podcast.

Senior coach Stuart Dew will have the final say over pre-season according to Burns.

Hollands injured his knee in his draft year of 2020, he was selected at pick 7 by the Suns in the same year.

He spent his first year at an AFL club in rehab & was back to playing VFL by mid-year, he is expected to make an early AFL debut in 2022.

Hopefully keeps his DPP.

Barely played VFL this year, was just getting back when it got canned. Maybe 2 games? Be very surprised if he's not $124k fwd/mid.

1 rookie sorted 15/16 to go.

Yeah, 3 games, technically 4 but one was called off in the first q.

10 & 1.1
16 & 1.0
27 & 0.0

Stats make it look like he played fwd first two games before moving into the middle of the ground in the 3rd. So looks like he keeps it.

But Pruess lost his DPP on the back of 3 AFL games and 0 VFL in 2020 so no guarantees.

Does Heppell get DEF status next year? (or even better... DEF/MID)

Didn't spend a second in the midfield so would make sense. Would be a look in depending on price and pre-season form/injury run.
He'll still be crap

What Price ..... $102K surely after 3 years out of the AFL system

“We talked briefly about Paddy McCartin and the fact the Sydney Swans are possibly going to recruit him,” said Tim Watson on SEN Breakfast.

“He hasn’t played AFL football for three seasons. He played VFL football last year. His health apparently has returned to what it was prior to the knocks.

“Do you think he’ll come back and play as a defender or a forward?”

Garry Lyon feels his performances at VFL level as a defender would earmark him for a role in Sydney’s backline.

“He trained and played as a defender for the VFL team,” said Lyon.

“He spent most of his time training and setting up back there. Did I read where he took 11 intercept marks there in one game and had 24 touches?

“I think he’ll be an outstanding defender.”

Lyon forecast more of an intercept marking role for McCartin, much the same way as how West Coast’s Jeremy McGovern operates.

I’d be shocked if he got mid status tbh, no real reason he should.

Dr Peter Larkin on SEN , next season likely to have rounds disrupted as players test positive at different times.
FFS Gil , get a big chicken pox style party going on for all players before season , SuperCoach is hard enough as it is.

We'll start trading in guys who've already had it over guys who haven't had it yet lol

I think this is what Andrew Birch has been longing for .....another twist to the game
