De goey out surely makes Crisp a lock (if he wasn't already).Agree with this.
I think we all expect him to start first drop, behind Pendles, Adams and De Googs* - so plenty of mid time for him. May swap high fwd with JDG? I’ll be taking him if the price is right, sounds like he’s been training strongly as well.
Hopefully his arrival means we never see players like Cal Brown and old man Sidearse in the guts again.
The big factor is no more bucks - could (should!!) be a huge shift in opportunities / game plan - it will be interesting to see who of the following are heavily involved in the rotations: Crisp, Billy, Macrae, Daicos the Elder, Daicos the Younger, Maynard (?), Quaynor (?) and the rest (McInnes, Brown Jnr, first years)
*subject to various pending criminal investigations
Jnr Macrae looked better as the season progressed .....he's a natural possession gatherer like his brother, but likely too expensive & I normally stay away from 2nd year playersDe goey out surely makes Crisp a lock (if he wasn't already).
It'll be an interesting choice of Lippy, Daicos jnr and Macrae jnr.
Will only be around $200k. That sub role kept his average down. Looked good in small bursts, just needs to get his fitness up.Jnr Macrae looked better as the season progressed .....he's a natural possession gatherer like his brother, but likely too expensive & I normally stay away from 2nd year players
I think the Pies will be a gold mine for rookies again this year. Will only be around $200k. That sub role kept his average down. Looked good in small bursts, just needs to get his fitness up.
Agree about second year players though, preseason watch for me.

I went and checked. It was 122 last year including the mid season draft pick ups.

Of last years 122 DPP playersYeah slowly getting more and more each year.
Usually a few days after the main one is released. Probably about 3 weeks yet.
Yes I got that part122 player with DPP total for 2021.
127 this year coming.

That is a pretty big jump in total. When you consider this year mid season draft/SSP guys haven't been added yet.Yes I got that part
Not a big deal given most of that number aren't SC relevant.
We need some fluff pieces about specific players positions.

I expect the DPP article to pop up soon. Players that gain it and players that lose it.

Suspect thats bad news for Crisp and/or De Goey
Going off this years magic number he will be priced at very close to 320k.Will only be around $200k. That sub role kept his average down. Looked good in small bursts, just needs to get his fitness up.

Where do you get that price from?Should be about $275k if (and it's a big if) he gets the full 30% discount. Might be worth the risk.
I'll probably go for Coleman @ $250k, don't want too many from the same team.
Rayner start price 2021 ($392,900) / 2020 average (73.1) = 5374.83 (magic number for 2021 starting prices)Where do you get that price from?
Off my calcs he will get a 30% discount on his 2020 adjusted avg of 67.8 which will have him priced at 363k going off this years magic number.
Coleman I have at 312k which I still like if he maintains the half back role he had during the finals
