We're all waiting for the draft to add a bit more quality to the team for next season, but even before the draft if we can add Sturt, Frederick, Hamling, NOD, Valente, Brodie and Clark, Chapman and Cox - there's a bit to like about the team, even with Fyfe a bit underdone. Please let's just see if we can keep 'em all on the park.

4th year in and you can bet the club need to see some return on investment, we're getting into Viv Michie territory now.

The positive in recent reports is that he exists and has been sighted at the ARC, so that's promising.

Mitchie had moved on by 4th year, but he had played the one game

So looks like Sturt didn’t take part in full training. Means he’s probably not a 100% right then?

Struggling with the fit of his new trainer bra.

As a side note, why the flip do the players wear these “bras” ?. Wired for GPS & other monitors ?.

Emerging Fremantle midfielder Caleb Serong is tipping teammate Michael Frederick to be the club’s biggest improver in 2022.
The 21-year-old missed a chunk of last season due to a syndesmosis injury after playing seven games, all in the first half of the campaign.

Frederick, an exciting forward blessed with blistering speed, was drafted out of SANFL club Woodville-West Torrens and is entering his third season at the Dockers.

Fremantle champion Paul Hasleby asked Serong on Sportsday WA: “Who is going to shock the AFL this year? The biggest improver coming from your team – who do you think it’ll be?”

The 2020 AFL Rising Star winner and 2021 Goal of the Year recipient replied: “I’m not going to go past Michael Frederick.

“What he’s shown when he’s been out on the park earlier in the year last year was pretty special.

“Once he realised how quick he actually is and that no one can keep up with him, he’s going to be running away from defenders for fun.

“He’s done really well with his rehab and conditioning and he’s in really good nick at the moment, he’s about to hit the ground running.”

Frederick has kicked nine goals in 17 appearances for Fremantle since he was selected with pick No.61 in the 2019 National Draft.

Anyone down at Freo oval today?

Big day on the tools…

Not to sure about the Chapman growth spurt stories. Looked like he was eye to eye with Banners.

Walker, very tidy, didn’t miss a target.
Clark, couldn’t hit the side of a barn.
Cox, grabbing everything.
Murphy, did more time socializing with the locals at the freo street doctor than with anyone on the pitch. Nice guy!
