France scored 2 of their 3 goals via penalties (before the shoot out) and not through open play

Not really relevant. A penalty in normal/extra time is from a foul in the area through open play.

France had so many injuries/battle torn players I highly doubt they would have won in a replay anyway (in fact quite possible they would have been flogged)

I disagree. The match swung back and forward. The young French subs did well. Mbappe came more into the game as it went on. France could have won at the death but for a superb save by Martinez from Muani. They may well have gone on to win a replay.

But again, it's another irrelevant point. Guessing about a potential replay result doesn't add any value to the argument of whether there should have been a replay.

France were flying. Had they got the 2 goals with 30 minutes rather then 10, game would’ve been over. Argentina were ran out of legs. Messi could barely have an influence. France could’ve been better with the two goals they conceded. Held on for a 1-0 at half time, think they would’ve been overpowering Argentina.

Why did the font style used in the marketing of the Qatar World Cup have a long gap between two particular letters, as shown below with the space between the t and a in "Qatar"?

From what I understand, it's meant to represent the shape of a dhow boat with elements of Arabic calligraphy.

Gee that's grim. Wasn't reported but Qatar stopped Moroccan fans travelling because they couldn't cope with the influx of them. Sounds like locals couldn't give a s**t about the tournament either.

Thankfully the 211 member association vote makes the Qatar 2022 farce being very, very unlikely to be ever repeated (ie Brunei bidding for World Cup 2038).

What’s your obsessing with Brunei? 😂
