For those planning on heading out via bus from Cranny station, the following map shows where the bus bay is located. When you exit the station (where the terracotta coloured roofing is), you will funnel towards the PSO booth at the eastern end, then turn to the right towards the bus bay and then double back. 897 to Clyde (every 20 minutes) or 796 to Clyde (every 1 to 2 hours) are the routes you can use. Be sure not to hop on the 897 to Lynbrook as they both pull in at the same spot. That one will take you the wrong way!!! Screen Shot 2022-08-24 at 11.18.22 pm.png

Joel, Lewy and Gould in the VFL team of the year squad. Well deserved. Joel would have had even better averages if he hadn't been injured early in a couple of games.

Laidler not listed as an Emergency. Hope he’s ok.

But thank heavens for the VFL - saves me from an otherwise Swanless weekend.

This weekend is the most boring weekend of the whole year(sports wise). Thanks reactive AFL. Not!! Fremantle should have been allowed to rest their entire team without you ijots reacting and creating the most boring weekend of the year.

Or if they really wanted to make this weekend really boring, they could've just made Fremantle play someone.

Wasn't it Footscray/Western Bulldogs did it first, then Fremantle followed the next year?

Possibly. My memory only includes Fremantle. Maybe it was the straw that broke the camel's back.

But really, if you are that good and that far ahead at the end of the home and away, you deserve to rest as many players as you can.
The premiership race is not about TV ratings(AFL priority number 1), it is about winning the flag(Club, player, supporter priority number 1).

See how the AFL priority number 1 is not aligned with Club AND supporter AND player priority number 1. Amazing!! Well not really. They are out of touch as usual.

We do realise our woman's team runs out for the first time this Saturday right?

Definitely should be watching/ supporting that.

Lewis Taylor not named

Not playing last week either wonder if he has an injury or in some way being considered for the sub in the seniors

Surely missing games two weeks in a row would leave him not match fit enough for sub?

Was he named as sub last week? Can't remember...

Does anyone know if we can take dogs to Casey Oval? The assumption is yes but we'd hate to get all the way out there and be told no...

Dogs off Leash in Public Places Dogs can be walked off leash in all Council Parks and Reserves within the City of Casey, except for 17 nominated reserves. When walking dogs off leash, dogs must be under effective control. Effective control includes dogs under voice control or being placed on a chain, cord or leash. Dogs must remain under effective control at all times whilst off leash. Dogs off leash must not be within 20 metres of children's playgrounds in all parks and reserves.
I could not find the reference to the "17 nominated reserves"

Yeah I mean they would be on lead anyway while the footy is on. But every VFL game I've watched online I've seen dogs at so I'm 95% sure it will be fine
