Amartey's marking and Gould & Melican's physicality the only highlights there. And Sheldrick's clever goal!

The midfield is a concern. We are lacking a player who can break it open from the contest and get it from the inside to the outside through speed or evasion.

These Demons players love to exaggerate contact!

I have posted previously about being tackled whilst the umpire still holds the ball. No free though[emoji846]. Hard to win the ball when you are already tackled.

From what I've seen Roberts is getting his hands to enough ball, just not actually getting rid of it to count as a disposal.

Quite a few geniune senior players on the Melbourne team today.
Cunningham may struggle to get back in. Not prepared to take the game on with his kicking I've noticed.
Ladhams is way behind Hickey by the looks of this game.
The only ones that look like they belong in the senior team are Amartey & Sheldrick. Angus is going to be a beauty. He wants to win.
Roberts is still a long way off it.
Only the first quarter though so let's see if these guys I mentioned can step it up. Bell is trying his best. Wicksy just wants to fight.
He needs to be aggressive at the ball & the rest will come to him. Change his focus. He will be a key here.
