This game highlights how precarious our ruck stocks are. Sinclair retiring. McAndrew raw. Ladhams just not sure what to make of him. Hickey we all know is held together by tape. Maybe we need to look at Darcy.............
It's mental with Ladhams. Doubt the club's going for anything other than a backup ruck via a DFA or rookie draft. Or nothing if we draft from academy.

At least we had a better last quarter though Demons had put the cue in the rack.

Ronke finished with 4 goals and had a good final term.

Not much to get excited about. Gus got plenty of the ball but wasn’t that damaging.

Amartey was a good target and was pretty good. Sinclair gave his all.

Regroup for next week.

Ronke & Amartey the only standouts for me.

Ronke probably gets himself the medi-sub nod for our final, while Amartey didn't capitalise on his opportunities enough to put any pressure on McDonald's spot.

Rankin was clean, Sheldrick tried hard, HHK and Campbell had some nice moments.

Disappointing game. Hopefully the last final we lose for a while at either level.

I thought Gould did a good job too - held his own against some AFL quality forwards.

For me, the big disappointment was Ladhams. With a chance to play in a premiership side this year, he was ordinary.

Ehhh I wouldn't blame the recruiters for bringing in Ladhams, most of the board wanted him in 2020 after that disappointing PF from Port. He was going alright this season until that dreadful Port game where no doubt it must have been emotional since he called that place home once.

I see Melican has just come off the ground, and they're speculating about the nature of the injury - hamstring? ankle?
Looked very much to be an ankle injury. Did "run" off halfway before the trainers told him to walk.

Amartey and Ronke tried hard all day but we got slaughtered out the middle. Can't help but think we missed Taylor running through there. The thing that is noticeable is the lack of experience. Take Sinclair and Cunningham out and the average age would not be a day over 21. The likes of Rankin, HHK, Gould will improve with another pre-season. The former two i think are 12-18 months of a senior birth. Gould is strong but his inability to go with the more mobile forwards would leave him exposed at senior level.

Anyone considering Ladhams being brought in ahead of Hickey needs their head read. I don't trust him. A couple of times today looked likely to get himself reported or give away a 50. Keep him away from the seniors.

Can see why they got him. Had Sam Reid not had the season he is having, we'd likely need him as the second ruck. Don't think anyone would have foreseen the fact that Reid would have done what he has this year.

Yeah, really not too worried about Ladhams long-term. I suspect once he gets given the keys to the number one ruck spot, he'll absolutely own it.

Had some really good games this year at both levels IMO.
