Bullants won the free kick count.

Umps were caught last night and a quick turn around to show its fair. But the ants are another Victorian team so it not the same.

Ladhams, Sheldrick, Roberts, Logan have all been mentioned - but if ever there was a week for Sheather to hit some early 2021 form and get himself a debut, this is it.

I think there is a big opportunity for any player who can play a pressure forward role. So possibly Sheather, Ronke, Taylor, Bell and Sheldrick.

I think against North Melbourne we might go back to basics and focus on forward half defensive pressure. Which might mean playing another small defensive forward in addition to Wicks.

Personally, I think Wicks is in line to be dropped. So I'm more thinking of a replacement. Less so what the club will actually do, more what they should probably do. And given Ronke, Bell, even Taylor (although he's been dominating ressies for the last year or so and has thoroughly earned my respect at that level), have had plenty of opportunities they haven't grasped, I want Sheather or Sheldrick to have a big game and demand inclusion.

JMac surely back next week, even if Paps isn't, so if he's not 100% fit (match fit that is, needs to be over injury), he can play at half forward, or it allows more time in F50 for a host of others (Gulden, Campbell, Heeney).

I prefer to back Wicks to hit form. I think last game he still kicked a goal and assisted at least one.

Apparently he does a lot of structural defensive work off the ball like cutting off passing options. So I worry that another player may not be able to replace what he does.
