So out of all those, the only really reliable ones to take to the bank is the Rankine and Frampton ones as Volbeat is more reliable than any of those other sources

Interesting that the Blues are rumoured to be into Sholl and McAsey. 2 low priced fringe players with potential.

Maybe their aggressive overpay strategy is finally coming back to bite them, and they are now needing to pivot to keep under the salary cap.

Might be worth asking the question on players rather then picks if these 2 ask for a trade. I loved Kemp coming out, Admittedly I haven't seen him play since. Also, a part of me would love us to ask for Stocker. Just for the fun of full circling that trade that never ended!

They did pick up Will Hayes in the mid season draft whose a hard running wingman who dominated at VFL level for Footscray (also played 10-20 games for the dogs from memory). Skills not as silky as Sholls, but certainly not afraid of contact.

We wanted him to be in the Gibbs trade rather than a 1st round pick, Carlton refused any player to be in the deal, which turned out to be to their own detriment in the end.

So we expected a first from the blues and sold to Suns for a 3rd?
