That list is not so bad that we should be using injuries as an excuse

What is conditioning?
Doesn’t sound too serious 🤔

Does conditioning mean match conditioning?

Did I read that Bytel got a concussion? Maybe he has been off legs for a few weeks.

Whatever it is it's cryptic and concerning.

have heard concussion then heard it was his calf

A long time to go until that VFL game. Just need to hope he can make it for his sake.
It says on the website that we are going to manage Hannebery for another week before getting a run in the VFL.

Ryder to play VFL this week.

Bytel needs match conditioning after an interrupted pre season.

Code for St Kildarising! Means within 2 - 3 years at the club all prospects finally depleted ..............good for trading to another club for peanuts.. where he will become a star!

Throughout the pre-season reports, Bytel was always listed with the conditioning group. So it seems consistent, just prolonged.

Maybe he has limited aerobic capacity? A long recovery from COVID? Just wild speculation because we don't have much info to go on.

I feel for him at this point. His body is just cooked.

Changes nothing for us though. He's never really been apart of the best 22 so him being injured is just the status quo.

No emotion. I mean I feel for the guy but, how can this not be his last season with the injuries he’s relentlessly sustained. It must be annoying for him.

It'll definitely be his last season. Who would want him on their list? Even if he took a rookie minimum wage, I couldn't justify it and I'm his biggest supporter.

Let's hope he gets his body right in time for week 1 of the finals 2022. If he can get match fit by then, we might need him. It's hard to feel like this is a loss, as someone else said - we've never really had him.

Should probably stop wasting resources on getting hanners in a position to actually step on the field. Provide treatment and call it. I'm sure everyone is equally frustrated.

Between Hannebery, Freeman and Mccartin the amount of special attention, treatment plans, scans etc must be insane. Didn't we fly 2 of them overseas to specialists. I don't really know how afl clubs operate/pay for these things so it might be nothing but time could be better spent focusing on guys that will play, especially for a club with our financials

If he was a horse he would be off to the knackers yard.

Yep, pay him our and show him the door. Move on. Waste of internal resources.

Freeman flew himself. Was a speculator. Concussions cruelled McCartin and we moved on.
Hanners is the only one that was a real bad move IMO.

No doubts about persisting with hanners is the wrong move, I wasn't against his recruitment on the face of what it could have been but cutting losses would have been the smart move a while ago.

Personally don't have a problem with Freeman and Mccartin. Freeman I thought perhaps earned a bigger crack at playing seniors and we did the right thing by paddy but there is little to show for the cost of all 3 of them sadly.

We are surely due for some luck...maybe
