He's had a troublesome knee all year, needs a clean-up of scar-tissue and has to have it drained constantly. Some weeks he is less hampered than others, but it has been there since pre-season. I thought he looked okay with it early, brought him in around Rd 4 and then watched him struggle for 3 weeks before cutting my losses.
What he really needs is arthroscopy, including repair work on the meniscus, but they haven't got the 6 weeks off to spare.
