Dogs to sniff out COVID-19 in patients and visitors at Adelaide hospital

Four dogs will be deployed at a major Adelaide hospital to sniff visitors for COVID-19, after similar trials at airports last year.

its not an odd thing. dogs noses are super sensitive, and there have been cases of dogs being trained to sniff out cancers and certain infections.

one of the things security manufacturers and medical device manufacturers have been working on for years is electronic sniffers, but none have come remotely close to the pooch yet

Well, it looks like the state election was more like QLD 1995 than QLD 2001 - the result posed some very bad tidings for the Feds, and it looks like much of it was down to ScoMo himself.

Boothby's contest wasn't particularly close in the end, and Sturt almost fell too!

I know that Dutton is quite unpopular down there, and I think he loses Sturt unless there's an economic calamity. It's pretty much a blue-ribbon seat, and those types of seats don't like Dutton much.

Sturt was close, didn't look good for a girly where but they held in the end.

Some areas of Sturt are as white collar as it gets, so this was a significant result.

Do you understand how our democracy works?

One of the reasons people vote for a particular candidate or party is because that candidate or party promises to do things if they elected. Things like implementing, changing or removing a policy or program and funding a road, or a park or a sports venue etc. that matters to the people who vote.

These campaign promises are made openly and reported. And we expect that if a politician or party gets elected then it will do all it can to implement its promises.

This is how a democracy works.

Explain exactly what your issue is with this concept.

What do you prefer? Secrecy or unapproved by the Fiance committees and the politicians go ahead anyway? Or better still whilst government is in caretaker mode and secretly allocates funds?
