No way do North win the spoon. They have some good young talent and a couple of decent older players. Reckon they will jag a couple of wins and the number of floggings will reduce.

The 2022 prospects of West Coast are looking very grim.

If the West Coast Eagles do take home the 2022 wooden spoon, it will be a most amazing coincidence. For it took just four years for the Eagles to slump from premiers in 2006 to last by 2010, so if West Coast wind up on the bottom of the ladder at season's end it will be four years after they won the 2018 premiership.

Is it a coincidence that they are crap after two years of decline, one of the oldest lists in the comp, started round 1 with 10 plus injuries and 23 of their players have now had covid over the past 8 weeks just as WA experienced its 1st wave? Some reasonably legit reasons explain where they are now.

Pies ran a root with their salary cap, then there was the racism scandal, sacked coach and president. So you guys fell from grace even faster after 2018. For legitamite reasons. Pies started refreshing their list two years ago.

So what exactly is your point?

That it would be quite a coincidence if they got the wooden spoon 4years after winning the flag, twice.

A lot of the Eagles list are as fat as fools.

For years NicNat has been allowed to get fat and play 60%+ of game time when he can be bothered to "get fit" as opposed to fat.

Still think Bombers and Eagles will win some on the run home.
West Coast by the width of the Bass Strait!!

Eagles percentage down to 50

You should all do the ladder predictor on the afl website and post results here who you all get finishing bottom 10 or start a ladder predictor thread would be good

Or you know, we could discuss who we think might win the spoon in the spoon thread.

Aww did easter bunny put you on the naughty list mr grumpy 😂
I just don’t know why you felt the need to quote 6 different posters to tell them to start a new thread, when none of the posts were off topic.

Eagles got within a couple of goals playing away with an actual half an AFL side. They’ll win games late with home ground advantage helping them. Roos won’t.

With a suburban standard coach enabling cowards like Larkey, Ziebell and Horne-Francis, another wooden spoon would be a fitting result for this ramshackle mob …

You are a bit of Braveheart hero.

How is it that the Blues won by 50 points and yet it's Blues fans melting all over the main board?
