Their backline is pretty solid.

Balta, Gibcus and Tarrant with Vlastiun, Short, Rioli and Grimes.

It’s injury prone and getting old but a bit like Geelong this year if they can get a clean bill of health for 75% of the year it’s really good.

On paper Richmond and Brisbane are ******* unreal

Richmond have changed a lot so will probably need time to settle. Part of what made them great was the cohesion.

Think they have a pretty good simple system. With the talent they have acquired and retained coupled with a simple gameplan I’m tipping they’ll be fine.

Edwards is gone, Cotchin and JRoo are ancient. It will be an interesting watch.

Agree Gringo, Cotchin hasnt been the same player for a couple of seasons and Reiwoldt got by just on footy smarts last year, both are basically cooked. Although if they are smart and manage them like Geelong did with Selwood they can have an impact in the finals.

Their problem is like us, they really dont have a relacement ready to step in for Reiwoldt and take some of the pressure off Lynch.

That’s all true yet without a future replacement for Lynch (and with him missing a lot of games) they still found a way to be I think either the highest or second highest scoring team in the league. Their system gets them goals rather than personnel. It’s the best system in the game it just needs some tweaks defensively.
