A large membership database with adults in key demographics that our sponsors want to engage with is the biggest goal. 1 in 4 bayside AFL club members being Saints members is more important. Getting that to 1 in 3 or 2 would be gold considering the demographics. If we can break 70,000+ in a couple of years, our appeal to sponsors would be much better. We need to double our sponsorship money to be financially viable. We do that by having a captive audience for sponsors to sell stuff to.

To push over 60 or 70,000+ members you have to engage the 1 and 3 games memberships. How many turn up to games is irrelevant. If you have a crowd of 40,000 and you have 30,000 general public and 10,000 members, that makes more money for the club than 30,000 members and 10,000 general public buying tickets.

At the moment we are tracking well in terms of growth compared to Melbourne and Western Bulldogs. If we can keep pushing we will pass Port, Sydney and Geelong. We can reach the upper part of the middle range of clubs sooner rather than later. That is a strong result. Add flags to the mix and we can start pushing up into the big boys.

By all means drill down if you want to (the saints finances are not particularly happy reading) but most are pretty happy with the simple easy number to read.

Impossible to say that when at least 7 of the 18 clubs don’t actually release their financials to the public.
At best you might claim that we have the worst finances of the 11 clubs with published accounts.

i rang them up and they said to me that there different options to what can be put on the plaque, one of them was "in loving memory". I think there were a few different options. I was very happy to hear that i could put it on behalf of my mum. They will be emailing a draft of the plaque in january i think.

My mother would not have liked me to spent so much money but its her inheritance anyway (lol) .

Im also told my membership pack is awaiting at my p.o box...the mrs one is 'on its way'
