Do we already have a Connor Mckenna in James Madden. Would his game progress with more opportunities?

Bit unfair to compare different teams as we are a top 4 team. Not sure what Essendon were when McKenna was young and starting out. But it would be easier to get into a team that isn't very good, fast track their development and show their abilities. When McKenna was at the same age and time spent on the list as Madden has, he made the 22under22 team and was well entrenched in the Essendon best 22.
Yes agreed. My thinking was Jimmy could have developed to the Mckenna level with more game time. Their attributes are similar. Mckenna is more confident but I think Jimmy might be a better kick and Mark akready.Bit unfair to compare different teams as we are a top 4 team. Not sure what Essendon were when McKenna was young and starting out. Phillips has terrible disposal. He is 26 and is being delisted by the hawks. Says it all.The club obviously have an interest in McKenna but possibly have other options they may look at

Wouldn’t have thought so would expect players like Bailey and Ah Chee getting wing time there’s also Fletcher and Sharp who you would hope to develop wouldn’t have a problem with McKenna on a wing eitherThe club obviously have an interest in McKenna but possibly have other options they may look at

yes looks like good digs, but the commute to and from might not be too appealing, as I understand a number of players reside in inner to mid suburbs such as Camp Hill, Bulimba, Coorparoo etcHopefully visiting our new digs will have helped his decision making.

challenging for a young player to break into a top 4 team and especially one that believes it is in the premiership window, hence IMO some of the reluctance of the coaching group to play some of the promising young fringe players, unless there is an injury to a senior/seasoned player.Bit unfair to compare different teams as we are a top 4 team. Not sure what Essendon were when McKenna was young and starting out. But it would be easier to get into a team that isn't very good, fast track their development and show their abilities.

Would not be surprised if some of the running sessions during preseason are still held at Yeronga or Coorparoo

When did Oxley become an inner west leafy suburb?they all reside there due to the proximity to where they train.
They have had plenty of notice where the main facility is going to be, so I wouldn't be surprised to find many players relocating to or new players living in the leafy inner west in places like Chelmer, Oxley, Corinda, Sinnamon Park, Jindalee, West Lake etc
When did Oxley become an inner west leafy suburb?
My and my brothers first job was pushing dads lawn mower around the suburb, mowing lawns. We eventually got a contract, and an old ute, to mow lawns for a community social housing organisation. We used to find a fair bit of leafy green that needed trimming.Leafy green suburb used to be code for something else when I was younger.
