Be gutted to lose Harmes. I'm a sentimental ****, but I love him and his tagging ability especially. Always loved Pig and the fact they're seemingly good mates and not in the Gawn/Braysh circlejerk club only makes me like him more. (I do like Gawn and Brayshaw, but they're definitely the popular kids as opposed to Pig and Harmes being the blokes drawing penises in the toilet cubicles).

We can't just offer these ****ing long deals to the big guys and lose everybody else.

In terms of the Jackson deal, I wonder whether the JFH deal could be involved somehow. I know mega-club 4 way trades don't happen often, but North want a couple from Freo. If we could somehow turn Jackson into Freo's 1st & Georgiades, I'd be okay.

If we are trading for him im sure we are doing our homework before bringing him in, unlike you id hope the club doesnt make decisions based off what they read in the Herald Sun about someone.

Id have much preferred to keep Harmes over Viney honestly. Viney would net us a bigger return, Harmes can play a run with role (not many/if any else can) and a far better kick.

The club would never trade out Viney but I do agree.

Sometimes its worth taking a chance on a player who may have had some off field issues and hope you can turn it around, blokes like Stengle and Pickett most recently cost their clubs very little and have become important players for them.

If he cost us nothing and he can get back to playing good footy then I don’t see the issue.

Cant kick for s**t, no burst from packs. The only elite thing he does to my eye is mark very well for his height.

We have enough inside mids and blokes who cant kick already.

If Lemmy is a pick after 30 hes a steal. Id very much hope we pick him up if hes there at that point. Excellent value, project with high upside.
